Brother Coop has inspired me. Haven't refinished anything in a long time. I got this beautiful Euro from one of the finest guys in the TB community, Jeffplaysbass. The sensible thing to do is to leave it alone, as its quite beautiful the way it is. I've become a huge fan of matte finishes.Never been too sensible.so I'm gonna go for it.
So that's the plan. The solid brass bridge will get the black oxide treatment. And the tuning machines in black of course. USA 9V pre and it should be nice.

The 95 was in reference to its body shape, which differs from the normal NS shape. They were Korean made IIRC.
I currently have a Bass Big Muff & a Boss LMB-3 Limiter/Enhancer. Haven't tried them in my chain yet. That won't happen until Sunday at my next jam. The Boss is coming out, soon. Replacing it with an MXR M87.
I was iffy on it when I first started looking at chorus pedals. They all seem to lose low end without adding anything good to the signal.
I'll be sure to write something up after I'd had a chance to test it with the rest of my rig.

I really need your help here Spector fanatics. I have a Euro 5 LX that I bought and it had been modified to have active pickups and passive controls. I added an Aguilar OBP3-pp/sk and now I need three "standard" black knobs and one "stacked" as my bass and treble are stacked. Can anyone on here tell me where i could get a set for this setup.....a matched set? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thanks!!
You could try Bestbassgear.com. One of the club members here works as a sales rep for them I believe, but he's been taking a break from the boards if I remember correctly.
Well I got decent info from JPS's lovely Spector site, the bridge is a customized version of the standard Spector locking bridge, designed to fit the shape of the pickguard, so essentially just the regular bridge with aesthetic changes to it, a bit more mass.
The Circuit is listed as EMG 9V so I'm assuming it is like wiring up active EMG's to a regular volume volume tone setup without an actual preamp. I've done it with an EMG-P pickup just volume tone where on the tone center is pretty normal, and turning it up boosts highs and then starts to cut lows, and the opposite for turning it down.
I'll record clips of it once I get a good set of strings on it, so people can compare to my NS20005 with Hz's and the EMG BT at 18v, which is the closest thing to it I have right now.
My wife and I were out walking our dog and I was on the lookout/listening for the UPS truck. When we got back to our home there was a BIG box sitting on our porch. Surprised that we didn't hear the truck! We were never more than 1/2 mile from our home. 
Anyways, here's a quick couple of pics. I haven't cleaned it up yet but she looks pretty darn great for its age. I'll have to wait before playing it as I need to leave in 15 minutes and go play Soundboard Engineer for a wedding rehearsal at our church. Hey, easy money for more Spector goodness!
I'm really happy with the free bass MOLDED HSC the GC manager threw in! IT'S in great condition! Ill call and give him some kudos.
Anyways, here's a quick couple of pics. I haven't cleaned it up yet but she looks pretty darn great for its age. I'll have to wait before playing it as I need to leave in 15 minutes and go play Soundboard Engineer for a wedding rehearsal at our church. Hey, easy money for more Spector goodness!

Finally back in the states and played the forte for the first time today and its amazing. Absolutely love it. The tone, the feel, the playability. Flawless! It will take a little bit to get used to the neck compared to my Wimbish, but I think it beats the Euro all day. Just got my number one weapon for rockin!

Every time I see this Bass I get super anxious...I want my Spalted Euro!

At this years NAMM, I was struck by this matte finish, Burgundy Mist.
So that's the plan. The solid brass bridge will get the black oxide treatment. And the tuning machines in black of course. USA 9V pre and it should be nice.
the matte burgundy mist is SICK. thats such a sweet color with the gold. just beautiful.
