Did someone say more NS-2A's? Mine in the middle of my Korean family.

I should get a new picture now that I installed a brass nut on the NS-2A!

Next Wednesday they will meet their Brooklyn-born older brother :D

that's interesting for a couple of reasons:
he's using his radial bassbone as a "trimpot". I wonder what preamp his live bass has? he's using his B3k as more of a tone shaping tool than an overdrive pedal, sort of like how I use my VT bass pedal. fiinally he uses a DB750, I think that's awesome but I'm surprised as well. that's a fantastic amp but not what I would've pictured its more of an old school fat tube tone, and not what I'd normally think of as being fast and agressive. thanks for posting!

Thanks to the joys of Reaper replacing my buggy ProTools, there are clips of all 3, be sure to read descriptions of the tracks, as I have modded each bass a little.

With the Dimarzios, the NS-2A gets the growliest, while the NS20005 with the EMG pre wired at 18v gets the most articulate, and the best B-string I have ever played (possibly also due to 35" scale)

My pick playing's a bit rough in these clips, mostly due to the riffs not being written to be played with a pick so I wasn't used to it, but they covered a lot of range so I used them.

I also had the VT pedal it gave me that SVT tube sound...I used with the GK800rb and the DB750 when I had those...Awesome pedal and great heads but the weight on those heads especially the Aggy was a little too much for me...:eek:
