That looks fantastic. It's amazing how much the grain comes out after all of those coats. I wasn't really digging the color after the first couple of coats but wow. It looks great now! And the matching truss rod cover is a great touch. Can't wait to see what it looks like all put back together. :bassist:

Great job on the refinish....that thing looks amazing!

TK, i really like those aluminum "sadowsky" knobs you've got there. those knobs have always been my favorite!

Well done brother! Looks wicked! :bassist: I have really enjoyed keeping up with your progress. Thanks for taking the time to share it. I am looking forward to seeing it all back together.

TK - looks great! Looking forward to seeing it completed. :bassist:

Thank you all for the great comments and support!! :hyper:

I finished putting her together last night..I was up till midnight but turned out fine. I ended up putting the aluminum knobs from BBG on it (nice knobs they are)..All works good so far. I didn't play through my amp yet just tested on my B3 real quick cause was late. I will take some photos during my lunch brk and post a few this afternoon :D

Random question. Can Legends or Rebops be had with an unlined fretless neck? Before I jump in with both feet with a fretless, I figure that I should have one to fool around on first. Thoughts?

Yeah I know the Specotr site specifically mentions unlined fretless on the Legend page and I believe the used a fretless Legend on the Steven Wilson record. I'm sure it's available on a Rebop since it's available for a Euro. The options listed on the Spector site seem to be cut and paste from the MMBop pages since they only list maple.

Bunkaroo's "Faux Forte" 435LX is out for delivery. Impatiently waiting in my prison, I mean cubicle, for the front desk to tell me I have a package! Practice is tonight, so I'm tossing it right into the fire.

Cool! It's got Spector brand steels on it 130-65 so you can tune right up to BEAD if you like. They have a little time on them so they're not the "zingiest" but they are far from dead.

I also have an Out For Delivery today - will elaborate a little more later. Wasn't expecting to get it but it's directly related to something else I will be moving soon.

We tune to "C", so I'll try tuning it up to use tonight. Hopefully a half step won't be too much to mess up the setup. I'll probably end up getting a new nut and going a little lighter on the string gauge.

I'm sure that'll be fine on the B string - should only add 3-4 lbs of tension. If you're C standard it should be fine for all the strings. If it's drop C, going up 1 1/2 steps on the others might be a little tight.

Well I took a bunch of pictures of my Spector family in this nice New England spring weather we're finally having, sadly these are the only two pictures I was able to save, as when I copied the pictures over, the microSD card somehow un-formatted itself.

Fortunately these two came out relatively well so its not the end of the world.
