Don't worry brother. It's gonna look good when its done. It's not like I'm gonna leave it like that. :rolleyes:
I know!!...But I loved that Red!!...Can't wait to see this beast Mr.Joe!!
I've been away from here for a while... I probably have to read through this entire thread to catch up!

I officially joined "The Mighty One" and moved my rig to their studio. I am now running 2x 210 cabs and my ideal scenario is finally realized. One 410 is running a dirty channel from my Sansamp RPM and the other 410 clean channel from my 4-Pro.
I plugged in, warmed up and the rest of the dudes: :eek: :eek:
It sounds like a 8.7 earthquake (I know as I've been though one). Absolutely MASSIVE!
The band amps everything to get the stage vibrations happening and also we use In-Ear monitors which is simply awesome!! On that note, I am looking for a Shure PSM200 if anyone has one and selling, let me know :)

We have a show coming up on April 12th, my biggest one thus far (that's not saying much...) which I am VERY excited about as it's in a really cool old theatre and so there should be plenty of ambiance! :) I'll make sure to get some videos of that show and post them up!

Cheers everyone!! :bassist: :bassist:

PS.
I am planning to do a video of a cool little exercise that I've been working on to work the 3 finger plucking technique! :bassist:
Great News Omer!!...but Ihave to say I am not surprised, You the Man!
Congrats on the new band Omer!! I hope those other guys on stage have something to hold on to!
:bassist::bassist::bassist:

And where is Donny?....Traveling?:bassist::bassist::bassist:

I would love to have a second bass out, but I had a bass knocked over years ago, so I've basically tried to do everything on one bass so I don't to leave one out on a stand. Paranoid I know, but I don't want to be up on battery charges for this person who knocked it over. :)

I just leave my backup behind my rig in its case or on a multi stand off to the side of the stage with the rest of the guys extras. We've had too many gear malfunctures at the worst times way too many times to not come prepared.

Did the bass you're talking about end up breaking? That's rough, man, I'd be pissed if someone knocked over my bass, hopefully they took care of any repairs needed to be done.

The dirty clean rig really is a sweet setup and I've really gotten mine sounding killer, too. My Spector really just sings though my rig now, couldn't be any happier, aside from maybe one of those new Mesa all tube heads.

I'm running two RBI's clean/dirty into a crest prolite 2.0. Tons of power and I have the ability to dial in the amount of drive/level for a nice blend in with the slightly louder clean sans for a nice mild OD when digging in.

Hahaha, how about Rush Geek Week? I've been on a total Rush kick this week. Jammit will do that to you. My new NS4-H2, for whatever reason, makes me want to play Rush. :bassist:

Rush geek memory: I remember learning the song Distant Early Warning as a finger exercise and warm up thinking that I will never find anyone wanting to play Rush (past members/bands always avoided them) to only have my guitarist get excited over the song, we don't have keyboards but made it come alive and we soon added Red Barchetta and then Tom Sawyer.

I have a Hercules stand that holds the extra bass and place it close to my amp/speaker but there have been times that the people getting drunk crash into a mic stand or fall over a monitor...or a crazy chick jumps up on stage and it gets a little protective of the gear!

This is the Geoff Tate version of the band, he has a bunch of hired guns like Rudy Sarzo playing for him....

Yeah, that is the Geoff Tate solo band that he unfortunately is allowed to call Queensryche now. The judge ruled they could both use the name.

Here is Queensryche with the band members and new singer.

The TLT version of Queensryche trailer sounds good.

On another note, What happened to Chris DeGarmo? I know he played guitar for jerry Cantrell's solo project on tour and that is the last I have heard of him.

Last I heard, he is a full time pilot and completely out of the music business. Man, if they could get him back in the non Geoff Tate version of Queensryche, that would be just amazing. The other guy they have used to be married to Geoff Tate's daughter so how awkward is that? :)

I have to say, every time I see your user name, it gets me to want to dust off my old Elric of Melnibone books :)

As well you should! They're great books, I particularly love "Sailor on the Seas of Fate".

That's too bad about Chris. He and Tate made a really good writing team. It is not coincidence, IMO, that QR's song quality went down the tubes when he left.

On a spector related note, the countdown has begun to receive the Forte 'Bird. Ships Monday.

Hey, offbeat question. Users of the talkbass app on iPhone/iPad....are you able to pm from the app? I can't for some reason. I've gone through the settings but maybe I'm missing something.

I sent you a test message from the ipad app Lee. It was a bit flaky since it wouldn't let me send it at first but then i had to click in the "to" field after typing your name, and then your username came up which allowed me to hit send.
