SPECTOR® Club - Part 56

A special thank you to PJ for setting up dealer to offer it to me at an affordable Sample/Demo price.

I had to take off the bridge to see it for myself. :hiding:

Man I wish I could take that Euro4 off his hands, but I don't have any money left. lol

It's a discontinued that came before the Legends.

It's the first Spector I bought and I've been hooked since!

I got mines for about 275 used and had to replace the input jack.

Not sure what they go for now.

It's a good bass though. I actually still own it. I just keep it in Hawaii though.

A quick google search seems to agree with what you say.
And a further search on the Spector site shows its got basically the same specs as a Legend 5. Which is cool with me!
I was worried it was a Performer5.

I will be picking this up as soon as they open. Excited to own my first Spector!

Congrats Sam! I'm sure the combination of everything about that bass will make it a long term keeper! Gosh, your daughters bday as a build date and owned by Rex and the Spalt, Walnut, PF wood combo? That spalted NS-2 really is magic. There is something about these basses with the walnut backs that give it a difference tone that sound amazing. My buckeye NS-4 is the same way.

It's funny how things work out since I was really looking to pickup an NS-2 but knew the Kramer's wouldn't be for me since the necks are so thin on them. This whole thing moved quick so now I am the proud owner of Sam's Forte with the 9V USA circuit which I am really happy about.

What an incredible story Sam!!! :D Wow! Who'd ever think that a bass would be forgotten for almost 5 years! Haha Congrats to you Sam and John! :hyper::bassist:

LOL, I wouldn't wait by that phone :)

All of the sentimental reasons for having this bass (since it belonged to Chris Loe and he even sent me the abalone truss rod cover,) I just love this bass. The neck on it is massive which I really am a fan of so switching between that and my NS-5XL is basically effortless.

Even Sam couldn't believe how big that neck was. All of his basses have large necks as it is but when he played this, I think he said something to the effect of "this thing almost feels like it is 35 inch scale or something."
