I saw this on Craigslist:

"A beautiful Pro-25 MIK Spector 5-string, pre-Legend Bass. This beauty has minimal scuffs and dings, and battery compartment is clean ( see photos ). With hard case as shown. Quilt top, Rosewood, EMGs."

I've never heard of a "Pro-25", have you?
What's the thing worth?

I would like to add another Spector to the stable if it's a decent deal.

It's a Q5-Pro. Not a bad price, but you could have a used Legend for around that, too. GC has had a few.

I was speaking in the hypothetical future where we're all flying around with jetpacks and there are more 9v pre's than you can shake a stick at. I can only aspire to be on Hoarders, just like the rest of you, when/if they ever come back into production. :bawl:

On another note, after talking to HAZ this morning. The mid control was added as a option, but nothing is set yet on how Spector wants to do it so it is not available as of yet and he said that 5 to 6 months down the road this could possibly be available:hyper::hyper:

Also, some news that everyone could be excited about. In about 3 to 4 weeks the backordered parts for the 9v's will have arrived and Spector will have as many units as they want.:hyper::hyper:

Speaking of tight.....I had been saving up for a special bass......even been thinking about finding the right NS-2 and trying the "holy grail tone" but just found out my kid needs braces............holy crap......the expense is insane........:scowl:

I also have a Demeter HBP-1 pre-amp that I don't want to list at the moment because it has a slight pop when you unmute it...only happens the first 10-15 secs the unit is on then works flawlessly after that...if you are interested.

All of my gear is meticulously cared for and in new or like new condition. Needing to sell it off to pay some bills so any one interested can shoot me a PM!

I believe it should be a Q5 Pro

You can buy better for less on the GC used Spector page. Nothing wrong with the Q5 though but that's a little over priced. I picked up a black NS-20005 off GC for just a tiny bit more than that price. If its a bolt-on that you're wanting you can buy a Legend 5 for less than that price. Sometimes it just takes patients. Or talk them down off the price. I've bought a few Spectors off GC. All have been great basses. :bassist:

Yeah, I get ya Lee, and its not even crooked teeth, its an overbite.......

Unfortunately telling the wife that might go over poorly........child support and Alimony will cost me a HELLUVA lot more than a used NS-2.......so.........unfortunately for me and my selfish desires........It's going to have to wait..........

Well, Im a dean club member. Might as well hop over here. Just bought a special I think it is? 5 string from a pawn shope today. Love the tone. friggin guitarists just love to tune down, cause after all who needs to hear the articulation of the strings from the bassist right? This puts an end to that.
