Getting ready to practice some of our new songs before the show we have booked this evening, I have been noticing a shift in tone coming from my NS2a so I better get the battery changed as well...anyone else got any shows booked?

we're trying to get a benefit booked for my best friends wife who has been battling breast cancer. hopefully we can get that booked at the end of june. we should all be nice and ready by then. lots of songs to go over, but once i started, it was gravy
with the m80, man my basses sound so good. especially my ns94. that little bit of distortion just makes the tonepump come alive. i'm giddy with the tone that comes out of that thing. so close to what i want in overall spector tone

I got the blue one and tried to get the orange but, Lee had aready moved it. The flame on the orange was my favorite one I've seen so far. I tend to like the flame over the quilt.

Your blue "double-box" is very beautiful.....

He means precious coop....you have a different one, unless you have one we all called "precious" lee had both orange and precious

But I was indeed referring to "The Precious".

Yeah I moved that orange Kramer in a moment of weakness. Now it's locked up in a vault in Florida. Damn.

That orange Kramer had a good thing going tonewise too. Better sounding than Precious IMO.

I'm always sad to learn about great axes winding up in storage vaults.
When the vintage guitar market was at its peak, a whole bunch of vintage Gibsons & Fenders ended up in the hands of Japanese collectors (who were only interested in the instruments as financial investments), only to be squirreled away in vaults, never to be seen, heard or played again.
The bubble on the vintage market burst, and Les Pauls that had been purchased for close to a million dollars were suddenly worth 1/2 or even 1/4 of what they were purchased for. These blue-chip axes still sit in vaults (unloved & unplayed), while their current owners wait for the market to recover so they can recoup their losses - losses that will most likely never be fully recovered.
Guitars and basses were made to be played & enjoyed by musicians & listeners alike - not to sit slowly decaying in some dark & dusty vault.

Gonna be playing covers tonight to celebrate my 50th birthday! It'll be a blast, but there's that underlying question- how did I get so old??
Oh well, much better than the one alternative I can think of!!

This is the white Spector I've just picked up. Finally gigged it and it's a beast.
However, my question is: what model is it? It's a euro and has the tone pump, but are these real inlays or very good decals? I'm not at all up on my Spector grimoire, so thanks for the help.

When I finally saved up the scratch for a Spector, I held patient until I found a white one at a nice price. Very happy camper.

That's great! Nice looking Euro, too.
It appears that yours was made in 2005, possibly 2006. The NB6XXX serial numbers were from 2007. 2004 was the first year they put the TonePump in 'em. Enjoy!

I played a gig this week with my Journey tribute band and we got a board CD. The guitarist has it right now, but as soon as I get a copy, I'll upload some sound assuming the performance wasn't too embarassing.

Quick help! I'm at guitar center... they just brought out a Spector 4 someone traded. Can we try and identify this?

Neck through. Control cavity cover is mounted on top of the body (not flush). Tuners say made in germany. No serial number on the headstock....

I can post more pics if it would help.

asian. those were made in the korean factory in the late 80's.
