Hi guys! I'm a new member to the Spector family. I recently bought an early 2008 Euro 4 LX. A nice blue stain. Pics will follow soon.

I first want to clean it as it just got it in yesterday.
I have a question about the Tonepump preamp. I seem to have the old version of the Tonepump: the one without the trim pot. The output of the preamp makes the Spector a lot hotter than my other basses. This is no big deal, but it would be nicer if I could tame the output a bit. In this case I don't have to change the setting on my overdrive pedals all the time.
I've done some research and found out that the Tonepump is made by Michalik. It's basicly the
Invalid Link Removed. Now, I've seen on the Michalik website a schematic of the preamp for use with a balance pot.
Invalid Link Removed As you can see, the master volume pot is a 50k/A pot "behind" the preamp. Interesting!
I was wondering. Is adding a 50k/A trim pot on this position also a good solution to tame the overall output of the Spector? This should be easy to implement.
