Any thoughts on pairing a Spector with an Ampeg B15R? One is up for sale quasi-locally.

A flip top? Cool. Be great for that old school sound, Motown, Stax, etc.

Any thoughts on pairing a Spector with an Ampeg B15R? One is up for sale quasi-locally.

I play my Spector through an Ampeg B100R which has a very similar tone to a B15R, and I love it.

Insane. Euro's are so undervalued on the used market it's a joke. I can see I will likely wind up keeping my 5LX. There's no way I'm letting it go for less than that SE went for unless it's to a club member.

So... How many of you are still using the age old speaker setup of a 4-10 cab on top of a single 15 cab? Just curious.

I prefer a 4/12 next to a 2/15.

I love the idea of a 412 and that mesa 412 looks killer. Jeff, if I was in NM I might try to work a deal with you on that, I've heard nothing but great things on that cab.

And off she goes to Texas! Now I'm a mono-Spector guy. Then again, if you're going to only have one Spector, swampy is a pretty good one to have within arms-reach.

I'm in the mono-Spector bass situation myself...but Big Blue is all I need right now.

I was a 410 (and 410 + 210) guy for a long time, and I recently changed over to the GK Neo 412 and I am quite happy with that. That plus the 1001RBii is a force to be reckoned with. We'll see how much they ask me to turn it down this weekend.

My Ampeg B-15T is my main rig and it has always sounded great paired with all of my past Spectors and the Coda.

I'm there too! I actually only have one bass period, but my US BO fretless just does it all for me at the moment!

...however, I do plan on adding a fretted to the mix in the near future for funky slap action!

It's too bad we'll be hauling ass to get back home Sunday since some of the guys have to work Monday. I think we go through the Nashville area on the way back from GA, and I'm going to have it with me.

I'd be willing to meet half way. Or better yet there're a couple of clubs down town I think DT would do well in. Just saying.

I really do like the cab but I need to down size. I need to sell the TC Electronic Blacksmith I use with it too. Thinking of a Tone Hammer 500 and DB212.

I predominantly use the 410 set up, but i love adding my 115 for that extra low end. 810s are great, but I like having the 15 in there.

I'm there too! I actually only have one bass period, but my US BO fretless just does it all for me at the moment!

...however, I do plan on adding a fretted to the mix in the near future for funky slap action!

Yeah, sometime down the road I'd like to have a fretless, maybe a Coda 5XL Fretless... Eventually I probably get around to buying that WCR NS-5XL but right now I'm fully satisfied.
