The neck on this bass is VERY similar to The Black Pearl's.

It's a great bass. A prime example of why I love the Woodstock Spectors.

Awesome pics, Ice! At least I know for one night I'm not the lone Spector in SD. :D Do they still call the train the1880? I haven't got out there in years...

Finally sitting down and watching Sting play his NS-2 in 1983. Stands out in the mix. Kinda' sounds like he's using a little chorus or is that just the way it sounds? Makes me jones for the one I have on order so I can use it with my band on Message in a Bottle and Synchronicity II. :bassist:

Just received my Spector gig bag. 1st impressions are that it's a steal for $50. Nice padding, a couple different handles, and even some straps if you want to wear it like a backpack. Now I just need a MB500 to put in the pocket for a easy load in mini rig O'doom...............

Anyway, if anyone is looking for a Spector gig bag, don't hesitate these things rock....

I use mine for everything around town. The backpack function is very handy.

Def surpassed my I expectations and my guitar tech did an awesome job putting it on and photographing it. Its actually better inperson. Skin your Skunk gets high marks from me. Knobs are gloss black. I changed them out as well as pre amp to an emg bt from. Korean spector. Love the tone. Thanks man.

Also. This month is the true 30th anniversary of Sting's famous bass for this month in 1983 he took possession of that bass and played his first show with it.

Here's a little tribute art. Someone mentioned me and Photoshop earlier. :D

I can't remember if I shared these or not. They are a little older.

Forrest's unusual style of playing without a strap often created odd moments when he'd let the music take him and he was inspired to dance.
But no one at that fateful concert in China seemed to care.
His bass lines were crunchy and oh so filling.

Robert Rodriguez had to cut this particularly bloody scene out of "Machete" when censors threatened his film with an X rating for extreme violence.
Shame really. It would explain how Alex Webster's bass got so darned bloody.
