Actually. That is the bass you have now if yours is serial number 813.
That bass lived with me for a couple of weeks. And I shot numerous photos of it. Including this one:

The neck on this bass is VERY similar to The Black Pearl's.
It's a great bass. A prime example of why I love the Woodstock Spectors.
Tony, please please please tell me you bought something "Rare" with a Haz in it.
IN! Sure...just as it usually goes for starting a new part...20 minutes after I posted this morning![]()
Took "Big Blue" to Crazy Horse & Mt. Rushmore for photo OP today.Staying in Keystone tonite...might be an old steam engine ride to...Deadwood with Big Blue tomorrow.
Every where I take Big Blue out of the HSC Spector case people stop to stare.
pics to come shortly.
Thanks, they're vintage Dimarzio Model P-J's like the ones Stuart put in the original NS-2 basses. More growly but less articulate than EMG's.

Finally sitting down and watching Sting play his NS-2 in 1983. Stands out in the mix. Kinda' sounds like he's using a little chorus or is that just the way it sounds? Makes me jones for the one I have on order so I can use it with my band on Message in a Bottle and Synchronicity II.![]()
Awesome pics, Ice! At least I know for one night I'm not the lone Spector in SD.Do they still call the train the1880? I haven't got out there in years...
Just played and sang "message in a bottle" at rehearsal about 1/2 ht ago!![]()

Just received my Spector gig bag. 1st impressions are that it's a steal for $50. Nice padding, a couple different handles, and even some straps if you want to wear it like a backpack. Now I just need a MB500 to put in the pocket for a easy load in mini rig O'doom...............
Anyway, if anyone is looking for a Spector gig bag, don't hesitate these things rock....
Looks like a really really well done job on this. I can't tell if the knobs are painted, or just standard or glossed and reflecting light?
That's a thing of beauty! Wowzers!
Glad to hear the BT circuit worked out well![]()

Short of my NS-6 fresh strings and all setup. A buddy I'm working with on a new project is playing straight thru a Marshall 40.
