Dude..... played my first gig with my NS2000 tonight. Um.... I want more of these... please....
Here's a 1987 David Bowie concert (Glass Spider Tour) with Stuart Spector's good friend and Brooklyn Native Carmine Rojas on a black NS-2.
And hear that growl...
This is classic NS-2 in a live setting cutting thought the mix with that distinct growly tone that hooked so many of us back then...
and a couple more...
White Spectors look great in stage pics!
Awesome pics Grendle! \m/ White Spector looking great! Nice T-Shirt
Thanks...She sure is. I never thought I'd get that deep tone out of a Jazz bass.Matching shirt. That bass is down right beautiful. Good low end monster for worship services too.
Do you remember what you did and no tiger in the morning? HeheAnother Monday of catchup! Was gone most of the weekend for an overnight bachelor party in the city. First time at the Admiral.....not bad.![]()

Man that is so gorgeous! I love the old wood and the old retro look. Great job!Well I'm not 100% finished yet, but my old Brooklyn NS-2 is looking a little more back to normal after this weekend.
Now it sounds good but I will need to replace the balance pot on the preamp to work correctly with passive pickups. It sounds great when you solo either pickup, but when they're blended the tone gets really thin and dull. I suspect its because the value (25K) is for active pickups. I'll have to source out a new pot.
I also have a TP on the back burner with a very cool idea of how to wire it up one day, should I not be able to get the MM114's blend knob to work correctly with these passive pickups.
But thats all for now!
