I traded for a European rebop and let me say it's the most comfortable bass I've played (esp, fender, ibanez, shecter, music man). I'm very content in the trade and intend on posting pics when I get home....no, sober!

I have been putting some miles on Scarlet this weekend! We got a call from the Casino Friday to cover for a couple of bands who got stuck in the snow, had a show last night at a new club...and now I'm ready to head to practice for todays service!!! Hope the coffee kicks in quick....lol

Picked up this great Zebop yesterday at GC in Richmond, VA. Drove all the way from Philly to check her out! Needs a little bit of truss rod adjustment and there's a tiny series of scratches on the lower rear, but I'm not unhappy at all.
edit: But I didn't make any friends. I returned a Schecter Stiletto Studio 5 I bought as well as a weak Markbass head, which basically covered the cost of the bass. Between the 5-6 people who helped on all transactions, nobody made much in commission. They weren't particularly pleased to help me.

way to make them work for it! GC takes us for granted all the time. We're their life blood, and they could care a rats you know what about most of their customers.

Used my Spector last night at our "fan appreciation gig" last night...it's normally the bass I leave at our rehearsal studio (because I've been focusing on playing a 6 string, and the Spector is a 5), so it was REALLY fun to play!!!! Tone for days, and it blew away the Pedulla 6 string!

Spector all the way! Did you consider buying a Spector Legend 6 or Euro 6? 
I played my spector for its third gig last night, this time through a gk system and 2x12 cabs. I'm very impressed with its ability and my beloved jazz now feels like a tank to play. The signal was pretty hot and was pretty touchy and am thinking replacing the tp jr with a regular tp will be the first mod on the agenda so I can turn it down and get a little control back. The pro steels sounded great and everyone in the band and even a few regulars were really noticing the difference saying the tone was great. So far I'm very impressed with my first steps into the Spector world. I wish I would have done this years ago. I normally have to dig in pretty hard with the jazz to get my tone I like, with the Spector its just there. When I dig in it flat out snarls!

I have. For me this was a once in a lifetime deal (Pedulla 6 which needed some work. I mostly play my 5 string basses. Both Spector and non-Spector alike. My next one will either be an old Warwick Thumb or a NS-5, although I really like the Legend 5 I have....

I am fighting the urge to drive to our studio and jam out tonight
.. I have the need for bass tone!! I love my rig using my MXR M80 in the preamp in of the Ampeg (its just better than the ampeg, not doubt). I'm hoping the RBI will be a good replacement to the MXR as it racks up so nicely.
I always really dug the tone of my RBI. It's one of the pres I traded away. That was pre-Spector. I bet it will sound great through your gear.....
I recently picked up a newer but used legend five string bolt on. I went to pick up a set of strings and saw it screaming at me from across the room. I know its the lower end model but for 300 bucks and one small scratch I couldn't say no. once I got it set up it plays amazing. I really like the 35 inch scale for the b string, it adds so much to the sound. with so little invested in the initial price I plan on modding it to refine and taylor the awesome sound it already has. I hate to say it but this cheap bass sounds and feels better than my high end fenders ive had for years.
