Spector Club - Part 10

Hey trace , there's been several posts about "fake" Spector "copies" .. I've never seen a good neck through copy and searching the Internet can't find any pics of such . Can u or anyone else post any ??? And I don't count the olp spectors as a copy .

Yeh...when was the last time anyone had seen an OLP Spector bass???
It has been about 3 years for me.

Hey trace what's the rest of the first bass look like ? Looks like an ibanez . But the body contour is good . Hows the fire bass coming ?

You are correct, Sir. Ibanez SRT800DXAM... Crap, Now I can't find the page I gleened the pic from...
But that is a sweet looking Ibanez/Spector copy bass...

Tedious work sanding the spine to make sure the width is correct so I didn't have to alter the pup or bridge cavities.... rasafrakinsbstakingfrkamorus mumble mumble mumble....

Trace are those inlays or vinyl over lays ? Asking cause there isn't the normal two small ones on the 12 th ...

Those are decals from Custom-Cuts on eBay.
The DOT inlays on this model neck are smaller and 12th fret dots are closer together than the Legend neck so the decal actually covers both.
But it looks pretty good, aye?

and EGADS.. it looks dirty... cameras evidently add 20 lbs... of dust and finger prints/swipes to your bass... like they do to models on TV... LOL

Trace it looks great ! You've inspired me to do something like that on my black Rex . I use the two small ones on my red Rex and not 100 percent happy .
