Question :help: for anyone that owns or had owned a NS-2A have replaced original bridge with a newer bridge and possibly one with Intonation adjustment screws? :eyebrow: I'd like to replace my bridge & prefer one with Intonation screws. Thank you! :bassist

Ice.. I know which bridge you're referring to..
I recall reading about a few Spectors that had an intonation adjustable bridge but, their use was discontinued and all you get now is the usual ability to change string height and distance from the nut or 12th fret. The one you want has a 3rd adjustment.
JPS might recall what model bridge that was... Ooooh Paaaaaatriiiiiickkk..... :D

YouTube - ‪Nerrus Kor: Indoctrination‬‏

It's best described as Blackened Death Metal, you've been warned. :P

Not the best sound quality, a lot of distortion on the vocals cause of the camera being too close to the PA, but it gets the energy of the gig out there IMO. Headphones should let you hear the bass sound, I usually have an Ashdown Hyperdrive over it with a tone that's quite focused on boosted mids and treble. Tuning is G#C#G#C#F# with Ernie Ball Power Slinkies.

Also, I love that colour on my bass, I really need to get another Rebop methinks.

If I remember correctly the Legend bridges can fit the NS-2A with no modification. (but as you know there are no Intonation screws)

String spacing .70"
Overall dimensions 3.54" L x 1.77" W x .74" H

The USA bridges have Intonation screws added now
but the overall dimensions I assume are larger then the space on the NS-2A

String spacing .75"
Overall dimensions 4" W X 2" L X .75" H

That brings up a luthier question . Can a regular Spector bridge be modded to have adjustment screws ? Drill and tap the saddles and the bridge is easy , but is there room on the side to work it or on the bridge itself ? I rarely adjust my intonation after its set , I use the same brand / gauge strings and it normally needs little to no adjustment . So to me no big deal . Been playin spectors for over 15 yrs now ..

Got a solid deal on an NS5-XL... should be arriving at my house this week :bassist: Really looking forward to comparing it side-by-side with my NS5-H2, even if it does have a gloss finish :D

Well.......
Interesting. After my (and maybe a couple others) email he had changed the listing from NS2 to NS2A. Respectable.

Now, although it still says NS2A in the description, he has changed it back to NS2 in the main title listing.
Hmmmmmm..................:eyebrow:
Now he's back to calling it an "NS2" in the description also. :rollno:
No one has mentioned the 95.00 shipping on the ns2a eBay bass ..... Wow .....
Are we talking the same bass? It says $58.83 for me.

Ebay can automatically show the price of shipping based on your location from the seller.
It says $93.13 for me in NYC.
Jarrod is in Alabama so he is getting $95.00
You are closer to him so you are getting $58.83

But the seller must have the weight and box size way off.

I shipped a Pedulla w/case in a 50X8X20, 31 lb box from NYC to North Cali for $48.00

Unless the person holding the bass ships with it ;)

Another wrong Ebay listing just went up. I think this guy is just confused.
Spector NS-2 4 string | eBay

Listed as a Spector NS-2 4 string
Description says: Spector NS-2 Euro 4LX.

Actually looks like a regular Euro.

I sent him a message.

LOL. YEAH.
I didn't mention it cuz, I thought it was a moot point.
I just REALLY can't see anyone actually bidding on it... for 1150.00 .. :eyebrow::eyebrow::eyebrow::eyebrow::eyebrow:

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Maybe 1150.00 is a typo and he meant 150.00:cool:

Someone may bid on it. :bawl:
I admit about 5 years ago I may have been confused and thought it was a NS-2. (:hmm: ooh its white, it looks just like NS-2 that Sting used)

All of us NS-2A owners should list and undercut his $.
We can put them up for $950 each and charge only $50 flat shipping
Remember those sticker inlays are only $20.
(joking)
