I'll mock it up and see if the spacing is good, then order a new one in brass like it's supposed to have on it.

Now, although it still says NS2A in the description, he has changed it back to NS2 in the main title listing.

Also, It's a TOS Listing violation as a "Bootleg Copy".
Maybe several of us should "report this listing" as Misleading or as Bootleg Copy...
If eBay gets a few reports they will remove the listing and send the seller an email explaining why it was removed. Maybe that will prompt him to contact Spector to get the correct info on it.
Except for the inlay, it looks like a frankenbassed Legend Custom (set neck) that has maybe been repainted (covers the stamp on the headstock). I can't tell if the control cover is recessed but, I do see what appears to be a plastic "nut".
Jps said the string spacing was off in comparison to the width of the J pup,but, the Bart J pup is shorter than the EMG so , I can't tell.
But, I would lay money down that JPS is CORRECT on that observation.
Don't know if anyone is interested, but GC has what looks to be an early Rebop (Euro headstock, all alder body, black hardware, dot inlays) on their used site for $300. It is not listed as a Euro or Rebop. A great way to get into a Euro Spector if you're on a budget.

" iceboxbass has generously donated an electric bass guitar string nut from a Spector Legend so I can see if the string spacing is closer together enough to get get the E string off the edge of the frets.
In the fire and in removing the little bit of char between the 1st and 6th frets, it lost a little width in the neck and the NS-2 string spacing is a little wider than the Legend is...
So, we will try the Legend's spacing and if it works I will order a brass one cut to fit with the Legend specs from AJ Yenser at [email protected] ..

That's mighty nice of you!FYI...For everyone's info...AJ Yenser donates all profits made from the "guitar string nuts" to a "Children's musicians charity fund", to help young children get started into music that are interested but can't afford an instrument. It's his way of giving back to the community.
Wow, that's a great deal! Makes me cringe to think of the hit the seller took (guessing they gave me $150 for it?). At least someone will make out on the deal...of course, this is all assuming it's in good condition and doesn't have something broken, resulting in a low value.
If anyone wants to look , the ns2a in question has some under the hood pics ... It ain't pretty !!! And an extra hole in the cavity .... Hmm I would way rather have the haz copy and original pups ....

Trace- it's not a copy , it's a ns2a . Whether it's inlays or stickers is the main question . Hardware - bridge , tuners and control knobs are correct for a ns2a . Ive also had several na2a's that didnt have a serial number anywhere on the bass . Ive had em with serials samped in the control cover and in the wood under the control cover . The electronics are the nightmare ... And of course the price .
I haven't seen the new pics but it only kinda looks like min.

It has some kind of pre with mods and what appear to be 250K pots. Not the cleanest soldering I've ever seen.

I would really hope those are stickers and can be taken off , gut the electronics , and start over .... 350.00 bass at best . With the barts !
