THANK YOU!
I think that that punch compliments my hard picking style too :) I use my fingers, but I whack the hell out of the strings:)
I didn't have an amp for my first few months of playing bass...so I had to hit hard to hear what I was doing :p

Lol! That's awesome! I can't imagine not having even a small portable amp. Well you definitely have a solid bass in that Forte4. I play fingers only...tried picks and once in a while I'll pick up a pick but there's something in playing with fingers that I really really enjoy and love the sound of.

Well i got my plum CR4FM in yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry no pics at the moment) I love it! It feels like the neck is a lot thinner than my Euro 4LX. Also the body on this is all maple. It just molds right into my body when i played sitting down last night. I'm going to have to put some DM blue steels on it as well. It has DR black beauties at the moment, but i am not a fan of DR strings. I may end up swapping the pre in it too. It has some EMG pre in it at the moment and it sounds good, but I may try out one of the Hazlab Mighty Mite clones. Either that or i have another Tonepump sitting around that i might use as well.

I didn't really have much time to play it last night as i was daddy duty to my 1 and 3 year old all night :)
I did get to throw down 2 tracks direct last night really fast over some drums though. They are probably not the best clips, but more like test runs. I'll try to get some pics soon of the bass!

I told you ;) that neck would be much thiner then your Euro 4 LX.
Feels nice dosent it? :bassist:

The clips sound great. I like the sound contrast to the Tonepump.

It will sound even better when you the Blue Steels on there
Although I use DR strings I dont like the feel and sound of their coated strings. I previously used Blue Steels.

What is the knob config on there now? Is it Vol, PU-Blend, Treble, Bass?

Since bassgiant15 has confirmed that the CR4FM neck feels alot thinner then his Euro 4LX.

My very early Euro 4 is also alot thinner then my Euro 4LX.

Has anyone compared these necks to the Ian Hill necks?

Ice, Trace...maybe one of you can volunteer to send your Ian Hill to me to compare? LOL :)

Oh wait....I could also send mine to you. :hiding:

But seriously, is there a known spec difference? Neither have the 1.5 nut like the Doug Wimbish models.

Although I am currently not looking to buy. (some may find that hard to believe) :hiding:

I am still adicted to looking...I found this link posted in another thread on TB.

Not sure if this is "old news" and I just happen to recently find it. but I figured I share it.

It is a site that combines all listings from craigslist, ebay & others into one search.

Dude, it's official, You Rock! :bassist:

Very cool track, great tone, very cool song. Had to go on facebook and like your band's page...

Uber thanks chrisloe!!! This song i actually wrote all the guitar, bass, and drum parts. Its been quite a journey with this album. I've never produced/mixed/mastered anything before, and this is my first time trying. We still have a few vocals to track and then i need to mix it and it will be done! I think we are going to have 6-7 songs on the album. We would like to have more, but i think that it would take too long to finish it.

We are looking forward to finishing it and getting it out.

Many thanks for the like on our FB page as well!!!
