Hi Peledog,
It's just under 8 lbs. I'm told that the bolt-ons are lighter in weight than the neck thrus.
It's a welcome change from an Alembic 6 str that weighed 13-14 lbs.

Jps , I know this may sound dumb to ask , cause the forte is the no frills bass .... But , could someone order a forte and upgrade it with black pearl crown inlays ????
Man, you guys are killing me with all this Forte talk. I just found a place not too far from me that has a 4 and a 5 string in stock and really want to go try them out. The problem is, I don't have the money right now so I really don't want to get my hopes up and then have to wait.
Has anyone in the Pennsylvania/NJ area ever been to this place by chance?
