Damn GAS!!!!

I am kind of realizing my life isn't complete without a black n gold Spector. Gonna be on the prowl for a black NS2A or NS4CR in a few weeks. If any one is thinking about selling one LET ME KNOW (NS2A prefered). I would rather one of you here gets my money, hopefully to purchase another Spector as well. :)

ya I was thinking the same thing..... but it will be next year for me

Oh man, I'm in the same boat. I must have a black NS-2A! I've decided it's the best bass for metal :ninja:

I'd also appreciate being kept in the picture if anyone's selling one. grendle and I will have to fight between us haha!!!!

Even though "Evil Undead" sounds pretty wicked, my money is on Grendle. Only because you're not Beowulf!

To the Death!!!!

I'm thinking of going to Bass central and putting a down on either an Ian Hill, Or Mendoza's bass.

Any one comment on the tone of the Ian hill? Does it have the growl? and just how thin is that neck? I turned down a NS200 that had too thin of a neck.

Just sold my Ian Hill last month! The tone is just amazing!!! The neck is wicked fast!!!
Has the TonePump do it has the adjustment screw. You can dial it in to sound which ever the way you like it. Oh yes...it has the SPECTOR growl too!!!

The neck on the NS-2A is just about perfect for me. Very comfortable. I can't wait to get my hands on a black one - I'll have to wait for my Ibanez to sell though.

Ahh.... he's on the road to usa Spector ville. That's as bad or worse than the road to your first Spector. Can't blame him there.

I need an endorsement deal! lol

ya I hear that! I'd play Spector no matter what, but hopefully one day my band will take off and Spector and teh gang will hook me up with an endorsement :) but if not I'd still play a Spector or 2 or 3 or 4 or.... well you get the point..

Honestly Im the same way. Been pretty much a Spector only guy since 92? Ish. The only other basses I've played since then are an SX fretless (bought for 2 songs & studio) and a TUNE bass I had wanted since the early 90's . At a point now in life where I can afford to play anything I want, I still choose Spector.

The neck of the Ian Hill isnt like way thin like a ns2a. I never played a regular Euro just the Hill and my Doug Wimbish(1.5 at nut). The profile (thickness) on both are the same just the Wimbish is more Jazz type wideness. Its Icebox's old Ian Hill, I replaced the tonepump for the Hazlab (not a big difference on sound, I just like throwing money around to have a different sound from my Wimbish)....I recommend both the Ian HIll and the Wimbish both awesome, but the Wimbish is more comfortable because of the smaller neck....only thing is im kind of not digging the emerald green anymore, who knows I might sell it and get a white one, hehe.
