Holy Crap!
They moved both of the saddle height screws to the front of the saddle on the new USA bridge with the intonation screws.
If you remember, I have lobbied for this ever since being made aware of the new USA bridges when they were still doing the kitty-corner screws like the way it's still shown in the Spector store:

I'm pleased to announce that I will be hosting a web-series where new Spector basses and guitars are reviewed by myself and a guest professional musician (a Spector Endorsed Musician of course).

It will be called "ALL THINGS SPECTOR" and we've filmed the first two webisodes already.

The first is an introduction to Spector products and the second is a review of the ARC6-B guitar... which Stuart is now modelling all ARC6 guitars after... they are all moving to a two-piece Tune-a-matic bridge and two knobs, one tone, one volume (the ARC6 has had 4 knobs and a pigtail wrap around single piece bridge). The Floyd Rose option is still available and there are new pickup options as well.

These webisodes will be aired on the following NEW website: www.spectorcentral.com

This site is scheduled to launch January 1st. It will be the place where you can download desktop images, nice photos, and I'm building a marketplace for people to meet up and buy/sell used Spector basses and guitars.

This site is 100% approved by Spector, but is NOT officially a "SPECTOR" website. That way we can have honest reviews, etc... and not "push product". There will be integrity to what is done on the site.

Another feature of this site will be a section called "MY SPECTOR STORY". PJ, Stuart and I are inviting people to download the graphics supplied in the section (they are title screens, etc...) and use them to create a video where they talk about how they came to own and love Spector instruments. Once finished, you can publish the video to YouTube and send us the link where we'll embed the video into this section of the site for the world to see.

The Official Spector website pushes over 50,000 individual visits a month by some 30,000 unique visitors, equating in over 2.5 million page views a month. That's more traffic than most medium sized newspapers get monthly. And of course the traffic is from all over the world... The Americas, Asia, Europe... every continent except Antarctica.

We're going to heavily promote SPECTOR Central on the official site and push a lot of traffic to it.

You heard it here first. I want to personally invite all of you to be a part. And don't worry... I'll refer to this message board in the web-series as well as on the site.

You all are a great resource for information and you represent the best Spector Owners out there. So THANK YOU!

I shot photos of those basses right after BPL (then I shipped them to Beaver) and I have to say, although the Black Cherry is my favorite quilt-maple finish (especially when matte finished), the bahama blue finish on this NS-5XL is stunning because it pulls the blue out of the abalone inlays in the neck.

My wife, who is not a fan of "bright finishes" on guitars stopped what she was doing and said, "Wow... that's a beautiful bass" when I first unpacked it from its case.

I'll tell you that the studio photos of that bass are some of the most beautiful I've ever taken, especially for showing off the curves and the contours of the NS-Body.

It's a beautiful bass... and in my opinion collectable because both of the BEM models Beaver has are the very first of the production run. So this makes them special in my opinion.

Oh wow I hadn't even seen that Bahama Blue one!! Dadgum. That's downright spectacular. If I were in the market for another NS5, it'd be gone already. Alas, I'll have to "settle" for the NS4 LTD... ;)

These are special because they are now fully part of the USA NS-Bass production series.

These pics of the bahama blue NS-5 are out of sight!!! From the bottom view of bridge looking down the neck it looks like blue flames dancing across the body...then from the view with it on it's side looking at the body/bridge it looks like ripples of beautiful caribbean blue water! Fantastic job on the pics JPS!!! that is now my favorite blue on a Spector.

Same! I always thought their royal blue (like the NS4 @ BC has) was tops, but man. That's just too hot.

Same! Matter of fact I was thinking my next Spector was going to be the royal blue. When I bought my Amber-burst NS-2A last month I was eye balling a NS-2004 in royal blue. Came real close! Just bc of that color. :D
