Cetera...how does that Fernandes copy sound compared to a Spector? There was one on ebay a few months ago and I almost jumped on it, but it was too beat up for the price they were wanting.

Cetera, I have three questions for you.
1. Where do you live?
2. When are you least likely to be home?
3. Do you have a big dog?

NS = Ned Steinberg, correct??
Cetera,
Thanks for the pics!! Spectors are so pretty!!
I love the red one with the two J pickups, very nice.

That NS2J is really cool! I'd love to have one of those as it'd be a near twin to my NS2A. Todd Cooke has an American Kramer with 2 J's. I guess they only made 12 of them! And I think Bass Central has a SSD with 2 J's, but it's $2800. I'd have jumped on it, but it has the natural finish, and although cool, if I'm paying that kind of money, I'm getting exactly what I want.Yep, Ned Steinberger...
You're welcome, I'm a very proud Daddy to all my Spectors
That red one is quite an anomaly. As far as I'm aware they made VERY few of these NS2Js in the Czech factory up until the recent NS2JACR reissues . In fact I can honestly see I've only heard of/seen about two others....
Sadly I no longer have it as I sold it to finance other purchases but twas a lovely bass!
Ray,
Completely different as it's passive but I'm gonna dump some EMGs in her soon and rev her up! I'm sure she'll be a lot more Spector-like then!
Btw, do I get a Spector Club number?!?![]()

G'Day Ladies and Gents
I am looking at the Legent Custom 5...
Just a few quick questions;
1) Has it got a 35" scale
2) Can it come in a Jazz Pup and a Soapbar pup?
3) Where could i find these things??
4) How much? and
5) Does it come with a gig Bag or a Case?
I look forward to joining the club in the near future!
Cheers guys

1) Yes.
2) I fairly sure that they only come in passive EMGs (soapbars)
3)I got my Legend 6 online. It came still in it's factory box with near perfect setup (slight adjustment for personal preference may be needed.)
4)I bought my 6er for $550 US.
5) Mine did not.
Legends are great basses. I can't say enough about them.

Check out the NS2JA-CR. It is a Ltd Edition reissue of the classic NS2J from 1983 with Badass bridge! They've just been released & I love mine (see my final pic in my main post).
I believe Bass Central have them & they will be a LOT cheaper than $2800![]()
