SPIDERS!!

I have a spider that lives on my computer monitor, been there a few weeks now. At night I see him running around the edges looking for the occasional flying bugs that get attracted to the glowing screen. He keeps making a web between the side of the monitor and the little desk lamp though and every afternoon I have to remove it. I suppose soon it will move on to a better spot.
I think its kinda cool, nature in action.

Try living here :x

Cute.

You spider haters are a bunch vaginas.

I had a bunch of 'brood sacks' on my bike one morning. I knew what they were, but I wasn't going to just spray them with the hose. I didn't have time before work, so when I came back, they'd hatched. I wasn't going to use a hose on them because they'd just go all over the yard after. So I picked up some 'Spiderban'. Spider no more.

Give me one good reason to trust anything that has eight legs, eight eyes, some are bigger than my head, and some can kill me?

They sure as hell aren't cute.

#1 VERY VERY few species can kill humans.

#2 You are much more likely to die on your next automible trip than from a spider bite.

#3 The spider you kill my be the one that was going to eat the mosquito with West Nile Virus or some other disease that is buzzing around your house waiting to infect you.

You asked for one, the rest are bonus.

It's similar to snakes. so many people are snake haters, but get rid of all the snakes and you'd be up to your ass in rats and rodents.

If I see a spider in the house, I catch it and release it outside if at all possible.

I don't care about the rare ones that could kill me--I just hate when the ordinary ones get in my bed and bite me on the arm or leg, leaving an irritated bump or two for days. They have plenty of places outside my house they can catch all the West Nile virus mosquitos they want... they don't need to be in my bed.

I definitely don't care for snakes, but I recognize their worth and keep a "you leave me alone and I'll leave you alone" attitude toward them.
I kicked one up last weekend while cutting the grass. Damn thing slithered right across my foot. I wanted to puke :p

I can't kill a bug. Especially something as helpful as a spider. I MIIIIIGHT kill a stink bug, but only if i'm super tired and it lands on me.

Now... spiders still freak me out... i had a dinner-plate size tarantula fall out of a thatch roof and land on my back when i lived in Nicaragua... that kinda thing doesn't really leave your psychee... but still, i wouldn't KILL one just because i don't like it...

Just remember...

spiders are like people. I don't like either....

I'm fine with them if they're outside my home, but whether you are human or spider, if you come in my home un-invited, I will hit you on the head with a shoe.

turns out that spiders don't handle getting hit with a shoe very well...
