Yes I agree with the fact I like the 70’s style of pickups, even listening to pickup reviews I lean towards that sound. Which is not as smooth as the 60’s p/u’s. But I’ll say it again they did a great job on that neck. Profile is perfect for me.

but here we're talking about @Anemic_SluG who got their hands on a first gen Classic Vibe 60s Jazz Bass and they said they preferred their '83 Jazz Bass tone which has the 70s spacing (I think Fender did that spacing from 71 to 83). Not only the pickups were spaced differently but also 60s JBs were voiced "warm" and 70s-80s JBs were voice "airy/opened", in what I recall. Could be wrong! Some people replaced their 70s original pickups with 60s pickups like Geddy Lee did.

It might be a special run. Two or three years ago, Squier produced a run of Chinese-made Seafoam Green CV '70s Precisions. This one, however, is definitely a new, Indonesian-made unit.
Sammick production models are definitively better finish (from pictures and my sharp eyes) than Cortek production models! Meanwhile, I'm still not going to buy any of these. I loved the Walnut finish but if the poly is quality is as low as what I got on my CV 70s Jazz, I prefer to buy old but good stuff!
I do remember seeing the special run seafoam green 70s CV Precisions< made in China with smaller headstock labeling, the ash tray bridge cover, and finger rest/tug bar. This one here like you said is the newer Indonesian made with the period correct labeling but no bridge cover or finger rest. It must be a very limited SR for a particular retailer. Interesting
Have a few more. As for favorite currently have three. ESP LTD Vintage 204 Black w Alguilar pickups, CV 60’s J Daphne w Lindy Fralin pickups, and Jack Cassidy w hipshot hardware.

From my own experience, I'd say they are non-standard. If you're dead set on replacing the bridge, my recommendation would be to install the middle screw first to see how much variance there is. You might have to drill some wood out of an existing hole. A little might not matter too much, but if it does, just pack a trimmed down toothpick or two into the widened hole so the screws have something to grab on to.
Yep, screw spacing, string spacing on bridge and pickup pole spacing is all wider than standard. Your BadAss 2 will work but, the 2 outer screws will need plugged and re-drilled. The 2 inner screws off the center screw are off just slightly and you can get by with not plugging them like I did. If I had to do it again I'd plug and re-driil all 4.
After I replaced the stock pickup with a SD Custom Shop Stack, that Dusty Hill and Sting use in their Basses, I realized the Bridge String spacing is wider and installed a Babicz FCH-4 Top mount/load Original Series. I modded the 5 screw Babicz for string thru function and installed Ferrules in the back of the body also.
Knowing what I know now, I should have got a Babicz FCH-4 AM String Thru Original Series that comes with Large Ferrules. The Three Screw Babicz screws would need to go in exactly 1/4 inch toward the neck from the placement of the 5 screws. The Babicz 3 screw covers up the 5 screw holes and if you ever wanted to return it back to the stock bridge it would go right back on and the 3 screw hole would be covered over and completely hidden by the stock bridge. I know this because I did a complete hardware swap on my 2 Slab Body Parts Basses recently. 1 had Chrome Hardware w/ a 3 screw thru body and the other had Black w/ 5 screw thru body. Just had to relocate the bridge screws 1/4 inch.
2011 50's CV
These are the 2 I just swapped the hardware on. The one on the Right has a 2010 50's CV neck. The Semi hollow slab has an inexpensive Asian Jazz Neck that I cut the headstock down on. I got the Slab Bodies from an Ebay seller 3 or 4 years ago.

Wow, I keep seeing the new Bursts and makes me want to get one. It's so cool and advantageous that these new ones have standard string spacing so you don't have to change both the bridge and the pickup for string to pole alignment.
Those Lollipop's look awesome. Must have a great neck or you wouldn't be putting the $$ into it for the mods.

Thx! Yup- it is a nice bass... notably that it weighs-in @ 8.2lbs- which is light for one of these. As I’ve gotten older- my back can’t handle the heavy basses very well (my 2 other P’s are around the same weight). I do need to do a bit of fret dressing- but, otherwise, a nice neck!
Got the Fralin in- today... she has joined the crew (although her brothers are FrankenFenders!)

I want some lollipop tuners for my CV 60’s Jazz but the “tall” version. The lollipops make it different cause it’s mostly clovers. Good job sir!!!
Thx- yup- the Fralin dropped right in (with a bit of cajoling). This is a 2020 CV bass... I had a Butterscotch Blonde CV ‘50s P, about 8-10yrs ago, and had to file down the (same) pu, a bit, to fit.
