Well, I'm long overtdue for a # 
Below is my CV P....modified with an Antiquity II pup, 62 RI pickguard and CTS pots.
I also currently have Eaglemoons CV J seen in the original post but with a CV P neck and bridge....but I don't know how long that will qualify because like Eaglemoon.... I find it too heavy. Because I love the neck , gave the J the same treatment as my P with a 62 Guard, CTS pots and it has the 75 RI pups, rather than sell it, I'll be swapping all the parts with a lighter Fender body.
This means I'll need a standard bridge....so there really will be nothing left of the CV Jazz when done, just a CV P neck on a super light MIM or Warmoth body with Genuine USA Fender pups, bridge, pickuard and control plate. Its gonna be killer!
Interesting to note that my P is very light, yet the J is considerably heavy for being basswood also. Something to think about if you're like me and like lightwight basses. These apparantly can vary quite a bit.....so you might want to be careful buying without trying.
Anyway.... I still qualify for a number because of this

I found that as well. The store that I got mine at had a couple different CV's and they all varied quite a bit in weight.

Heres my classic vibe 60's jazz.

0000 Steel wool works well too. But then you have to watch out for all the little steel wool dust and snippets that break off. They are fun in, on and around the pickup magnets....
Less of a problem with sealed pickups like EMGs or Bartolinis. But then, those don't come stock on a Squier, do they?
So a CV bridge hole spacing is different then standard fender hole correct? i could not remove my CV bridge and replace it with a vintage threaded style bridge instead?

I have the stock CV pups in my 2nd geddy clone and love them!That only means it is not a direct bolt on replacement is all. If you mark the center line, pull the stock bridge, draw a line through the line of bridge holes and finish marking the center line of the bridge, then fill the holes and re drill to fit whatever bridge you put on, problem solved.
it is a bit easier than it sounds.
Oh i am not worried i cant do it , i have just had a long lasting debated with someone i know that they are not a bolt on with other fender standard bridges and he would not believe me
Don't rely on me to confirm they are or are not a direct replacement...I have not tried or measured. But the swap advice if they are not direct is solid info.
And for any others pondering the issue, I'd bet a local shop could do this for you for a reasonable price if you do not feel up to the task...
They are definitely 2 different hole patterns.
Surprising, since the pickguard, control plate and neck pocket all interchange with Fender USA parts perfectly.
But I really like the stock bridge.... I had the other way around "problem", I swapped the body and wanted to use the Squier bridge but ended up just getting a standard one.
The Squier bridge is a good one.

Yup! That is basically the only part on my CV that is stock...well, the bridge and the neck plate...
This one started out as a Classic Vibe 50's, but really all that is left is the body and pickguard, so it probably doesn't count....
