The one I am going to try on mine (when I get it monday
) is a left over off-white one that was stock on my MIM p-bassInvalid Link Removed
the pic makes it look glaring white, it's a really nice subtle color though, not cheap looking at all.
I was also thinking about putting that white one back on my MIM and putting the black one on the CV... so many choices!
I was looking on used guitar center website and there was both a jazz and 60's sonic P for 199.99$ most of these stores will ship for 20-30$

That to although I dont really worry about getting a bad one , i rather save 70$, to eachs own.
Well, i must admit i would like something with blocks and inlay, but as i have no money left this will have to wait a bit.
I do quite fancy getting a CIJ jazz at some point but for now my CVJ is working out just fine.
Anyone seen this yet? I dont really like white blocks on a maple fretboard so wont be getting one but i might get the VM Jag, just for the neck and then put it on my CVJ if i can.

So heres what i did.
I traded my CV jazz neck to a fellow TB'er for his VM jazz neck, the bound and blocked one.
So heres my dilemma.
What kind of bass is it going to be? Classic Modified? Vintage Vibe? Im leaning towards Classic Modified. Has a nice ring to it. And of course, pics will be posted when the neck gets here and i put it together.

Modified Classic Vintage Vibe or MCVV (or 1100 for short...assuming with Roman Numerals that VV would be 0 (subtracting 5 from 5)).

Here is my Squier Classic Vibe 50s P-Bass with a Hanson Chi Sonic single coil in the same position as the original pickup. For the record, there is nothing wrong with the stock pickup, but if you've ever heard these Chi Sonics, you understand
well, then post a soundfile...
I've now 7 gigs with my CVJ and not once have I needed to tune up at a gig.
I only use a soft gig bag and I'm really impressed at how well the stock tuners work. They don't look or feel great but I'm going to stick with them for now.
Still over the moon with the bass.
