Ok folks, after a false start, here's my take on a winning bag:

I have the bag in hand now. Excellent fit. Recommended.

Do you need a pic to get a number? Cause mine is now in NY patiently waiting for my return at the end of August.

I'm going to a 'band camp' with Levin, Adrian Belew, and Pat Mastelotto. I think I'm gonna have to take my cirrus too though. ;-)

I haven't been as militant about that as some threads. I'll give you a number (#28), just please post a pic ASAP.

Thanks.

I have a Gator Rack Case for my GK Fusion 550 and they make quality products so I'm sure it is a very nice case. However, I specifically bought the SS for travel and I needed the shortest contoured Guitar shaped gig bag I coulld possibly find so I could bring it on the plane without having to check it ($23 to check on United) not to mention probably certain damage. I already checked and the measurements on my bag will fly (no pun intended) but the Gator being 4 ft. long and 19" wide I'd have to check.

Well, is it just me, or is the bass in the picture a regular scale jag?

I just put my HS ultralites in and they are too small. Close but not quite. The HS use a sleeve thats attached to the bolt (that you see on the headstock.) I wrapped a few layers of black electrical tape around the post and now they fit snug as a bug.

Not perfect, but seems to work okay. Not sure if will hold up well long term though.
