i added a gotoh 201 and some ghs flats, i can get a deep dub sound out of the p pickup.

I have no idea what the active ones have but the ones on the original have a bigger gear with two more teeth, no play, slightly different plate with screw holes that don't quite line up and they are five grams heavier. And they don't slip or whatever and make you go out of tune constantly.

The key to keep shipping prices down is to order multiple parts at once. If you think there is something else you might need down the road, order it now too.

Yes, the neck is awesome. Pretty much the deciding factor for me to take the plunge and buy.

I think I remember someone expressing concern that the finish on the neck is too thin. Anyone else feel that way? Could that effect it in the future in terms of warping etc? I love the neck the way it is, but I also want it to be viable for the long haul.

I like the finish but my neck seems too thick front to back from the 9th fret up. It's really thin at the nut, but along the stripe the neck is same thickness from 9th fret to the heel. I guess I could try to shave it a little some day.
