Does anyone have any ideas for which bridge I should use as a replacement? I noticed that my stock Squier bridge is not positioned correctly -- it's too far over to the E side of the neck, plus the strings aren't placed evenly over the pickup poles, so I'm thinking I'll put a new bridge on there which I have to drill new holes for. This way I can position it properly. I would loved to have put a Badass II on there but I would have to use the existing holes if I went with that option. I could really do with some help on this one.
So far I have looked for a Gotoh 206 but I can't find a chrome one anywhere. Help!
Thanks, but I checked those out already. Neither stock the 206, only the 201.
My Squire P bass (next to my SX). I love this bass...its just a plain ole affinity series, but plays sooooo nicely. I put on a black pickguard (originally white). Mods to come soon to it.

man, i hate my squier p-bass, all it does is waste space in my room, the new squier jazzez look ****ing incredible though, my only problem is that i doubt they have any manufacturing quality at all.
Nappa, not sure as to what kind of fretboard it has. Whatever the Affinity series uses. The pickguard doesnt have the white line on it because it was orginally a white pg that I sprayed. It'll do until I go buy a black one. Hey while we're at it, do they make the chrome piece that goes under the knobs with a modified pg for this bass (precision)...like the way they are on jazz basses? (see my SX next to it). I like the way that looks. That squier look just like mine, except the yours doesn't have the white outline on the pickguard (maybe it does, but i cannot tell). Is the fretboard on yours maple or rosewood? If its rosewood its much lighter (color-wise) then mine.
Hi all, heres my squier p bass special, have put some seymour duncans on it and very recently put some flats on it, am thinking of putting on some ashtray pickup covers on it
