Squier "Perfect Fit Replacement Parts" Mega thread

I'm currently modding my Fender Squier Vintage Modified 77' Jazz Bass. Here's a picture of the original bass:

Here's what I've done thus far:

Current Mods:

1. Gotoh Chrome Bridge (Black)
2. Creative Cuts Geddy Lee Black Inlays
3. Warmoth Vintage Round Retainer for Bass (Black)
4. Hipshot HB1 Tuners (*Note that these tuners are not drop-in replacements. As a matter of fact, after conducting pretty thorough research, I've concluded that for the Squier Vintage Modified basses, there are no tuners that will "drop in." However, the Hipshot HB1s are the best option available. Their footprint was perfect for my Squier VM 77'.)

Future mods will include Seymour Duncan STK-J2s (which will drop-in), and a custom pickguard.

I noticed in alot of posts mentioning how MIM pick guards and tuners working on CV jazzes, but not VM jazzes, so I was looking at the specs for all the jazz basses on Squier's site, and was wondering if anyone knows if they have changed the hardware on the newer VM's. The sight shows the VM and Standard as having the same control plate and tuners and the pics of both look like it comes to a point at the top toward the neck pup. I just bought a new VM last week, shows a 2010, indonesia cort by the serial no., and my control plate is not pointed, its round, just like the pic for the CV. Also, my tuners seem spaced further apart, with the e tuner lower on the headstock than the pics for VM and Standard show, more like the pic of the CV (going by the parts lists for each)

The VM is more pointy than the MIM Jazz. That's the way it was on my VM-Jazz when I wanted a '70s Tort 13-hole PG on it.

I bought the '70s J Tort PG and made a couple of mods to it and it fits perfectly.

Ez-Pz !

Not trying to be a thread necro, but this seemed like the appropriate place to pose the question. I've got a Squier Jag Neck on my Squier II P. The photo from the Hipshot website looked like a BT7 would be a direct drop in for the pattern. It's just a little off. Is there a direct drop in Hipshot Xtender for the Indonesian Fenders?
