Squier Precision CV 60's: what is it really worth?

I have a CV "poor man's Pino" as well, it really is a great bass for the money. I had no intention of buying it, just played one in a store and couldn't put it down. I think it was $400 new? Not the worst impulse purchase I've ever made.
One thing I like about it? The truss adjust is at the headstock! I haven't modified the bass other than taking the tug bar off.
I also have a white 60's J (also made in China) that I think is pretty good. The neck, again, is good though I think the pickups are underwhelming.
To round it off, I also got a FSR run of the burst/maple blocked neck Jazzes they did. "Poor man's Geddy" kind of. This one was made in Indonesia and it was awful. Small sample size but the theory is still in place.
EDIT: this was a Squier FSR Vintage Modified Jazz, not a CV. Still bad. I think I got it mostly because the spacing was 70's which wasn't all that easy to find at the time, at least at a low cost.

The bass sounds really great and I couldn't be happier with my first P-Bass ever!
So far there's a nothing I dislike about this bass.
Do you guys have any experience replacing the stock pickups (which I find very good) with some Fender Pure Vintage 63' P-Bass pups? If so would you honestly say it's worth it?
The bass sounds already great but if some new pickups can make it sound even better then I wouldn't hesitate to buy these 63' pups. The bass was that cheap that I wouldn't mind the extra budget if it's worth it.

Most people that I know keep it stock or if they switch realize it wasn’t worth it.

I've changed my mind and ordered some stock Fralin P-Bass pickups!
After reading a lot of comments and listening to some audio clips featuring the Fender Pure Vintage 63 (mainly on Fender American Original 60's demo videos) I came to the conclusion that they sound too "muddy", bass-heavy and undefined to my ears. The primary reason I bought a P-Bass was to have a simple (passive) instrument that effortlessly cut into the mix.
I feel the Fralin P-Bass pickups are more appropriate for that purpose.
Any thoughts on the Fralin?

Any idea whether this is one of the much praised 1st gen Chinese made CV basses?
The serial number starts with CGR while the serial on my recently acquired fiesta red Classic Vibe starts with CGS.
Strange because I was initially told that the C stands for China, the G for the factory and the S for Squier...
Also, I thought these much sought after Chinese made CV 60's P-basses were only available in Fiesta Read or Sonic Blue...

The bass look like Olympic white rather than sonic blue.

Omg, it look like a earlier china made Affinity Pbass body with china CV60P neck ！！！
The pickguard has different shape ,pickguard mouting screws placement and bend bridge.
How good/special/rare are they supposed to be? I'm curious.

In past, there are Squier VM P body + CV60P neck and list FSR CV60P on Ebay. Beware ！！！
