Squier vintage modified club, part 2

Hey - tell me about these conchos!!!

Concho freak, too, huh?!

Well, the strap on the Tele is a Franklin Southwest Series 2" gloved leather ($50), but I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help with the brown suede one on the Jazz.. I found that strap on clearance at a local music store that was going out of business (I paid $30 for it) a couple of years ago, and I cut the tag off at that time, as it showed with the strap on, and now I can't remember the brand... And the strap doesn't have a name printed on it. Sorry!

Here are a few more shots of both:

I replaced the bridge on my VMJ 5. I swapped it with a Hipshot FM3 type A bridge. It fits and works well. The stock bridge was fine but I like the aesthetics and accessibility of the Hipshot type A. Its a 4 screw mount and fits in the center of the 6 screw mount without redrilling.

Gentlemen experts of Vintage Modifieds...

Any ideas if the SKB Cases (designed for the J´s and P´s) will fit the VM Jaguar standard, or should I say, will the Jag fit the case?

I have a rigid case (one tha is shaped) and my VM Fretless fits perfectly, but the Jag is too tight for my liking.

Hey everyone I have a Squier fretless Vintage Modified Jazz Bass that I just put in a set of Lindy Fralin Jazz Pickups in hopes that I hoped that would get rid of the buzz that came with the original pups on the bass...but the buzz is still there. Any suggestions ?? Thanks...DAcat

Thanks - any marital aids are welcome.

Glad I can be of help in that dept. ... :eyebrow:

Found the tag - I knew I had kept it - OK, the strap is a Levy's. Here is the description from Amazon's site: Levy's Leathers Guitar Strap MS26SF-BRN 2½" suede leather guitar strap with suede backing, decorated with four conchos and turquoise-colored Santa Fe beads.

Unfortunately it looks like it is unavailable at the present time. Don't know if they'll have it back in stock or not.. They had a good price on it, too.. I see now that I paid $37.99 for mine...
