Squier Vintage Modified Precision V: who's got one?

in my planning stage:
Okoume Body, like this pbass I built recently:

SOLD - Exotic Beautiful figured African Okoume. Precision Parts Bass (make offer)

No pickguard. Kickass bridge. Hardware black. Reverse equal sized shell EMG P5a in Ivory. w/ Ivory knobs.
Strat jack on body edge.
Roasted maple neck, no fret markers.
Slimmed , tilt-back and shortened 3x2 headstock with tuners tight together, and angled.

Hey all,

I'm selling my CAR VM Precision V. I'm keeping the sale local NY/NJ/CT for now but wanted to offer it here before I post in the classifieds. Bass is stock and in near mint shape. PM if you're interested or know someone who is.

Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound P5 went in mine without trouble.

Change to a threaded saddle equipped, or adjustable width bridge. I had USA Fender pups in mine but I had threaded saddles to accommodate any spacing / pole alignment issue.

Had one custom wound to Pv 63 specs but a couple of pole pieces are off a saddled bridge should fix that right up

The neck on mine was not a chunky boatneck, but it was thicker than the one on my Dingwall. I would describe it as a pleasant handful.

I preferred it over the Mexican Jazz V that I had for a while, and the Am Standard Precision V’s that I have sampled, but I’m a bit of a chubby-chaser anyway.

If you have smaller hands or simply prefer slender, stiletto necks, it might not be your cup of tea.

That’s what I thoughts. I like slim or asymmetric.
