Stadium Arcadium

just got it today..lovin it...its more guitar orientated which is awesome, flea's perfect as usual, chad, well..its chad, cant get any better...love the "newer style" ill call it....ive had BSSM since it came out (i was 5) and OHM was brilliant IMO, stadium arcadium is definately spilliting the two apart when it comes to favourites..love 21st century, tell me baby and hump de bump

Wrong! I read in an interview with Frusciante in Guitar World that all (or most, I can't remember) of the horn parts were done on guitar.

But yes, Flea is quite good at trumpet. His little solo on the Slane Castle DVD is cool.

Damn you're right. He did play some sort of synth guitar, but he doesn't specifically say he did the horns.

On another note, is the deluxe package worth it? The album is continuing to grow on me, so I may just pick it up.

If you really collect RHCP stuff, it's worth it, otherwise, just the normal packaging is fine. I didn't even realize I was buying the limited edition box until I got home and saw that what I had bought was that box.
