Alas, these wise words given the day before his decease. A loss to the TB community. RIP

I'm very sorry for your loss. He was a standup guy here and on The Gear Page. I hope he had as good a time interacting with us as we did with him.

I'm from ATL but only knew him here.
We're close to the same age and had good conversations about 688, the Minutemen, and details about our little scene in the 80s that only people who'd been lifesaved by Frank out back of the Metroplex could.
Your dad was hilarious, and I looked forward to his posts.
Thanks so much for letting us all know. He was really proud of you and bragged on you in his own way whenever he had the chance.

Damn - I wondered where he'd been lately. I love that guy - so sorry to hear about this, but thank you for letting us know. I always enjoyed his wit and humor. Love & Strength to your family. 
So sorry to hear about your dad! He was a fixture here, and I had a number of great conversations with him. He made an impression for sure, and will be missed!

This summed it up beautifully.oh, no!! i so respected @Killing Floor's insights and posts. i will remember him with respect. we didn't always have to agree for me to appreciate his valuable contributions to 'the music' in general, and to this site specifically. he will be missed. i will miss him.

I know he cycled just like I do and an engineer as well. That is sad... and that is a young age to leave this planet. Condolence to your family.
