So would it be safe to head over to the doom room when you guys start talking about about games and computers?
More Ale = More Tone. Proven fact.Yeah. I would like to add that bourbon is the most important part of my signal chain
Right on. Preaching to the Choir.So...about tone. Everything sounds the same through a Bluebeard and it always sounds good.
They should be standard issue by this point.
I'm ashamed to even mention my home PC. Let's just say it's old, and slow.

This may be alittle stupid of me to ask, but I was just asked to play in a death/black metal band, and don't know if I know how to play that kind of bass other than what the guitars are playing? The guy always says I'm " pretty beast on bass", but I don't know if he's just looking for someone to fill in the lows. I do like Alex Webster cause he's a beast on bass, but is there a different way(tone, technique, bass harmonizing with guitars, chords, etc.) to play than doom? I know they don't want just a root/riff follower. I expect flames, atleast vapors. But would appreciate insight more.

It's technically a 3.4 turbo boosted. TURBO! haha. I've been building PCs since I was 12 but I haven't had the opportunity to build one in the past 4 years or so. I always have a lot of fun with it.

As long as it gets email and porn it's good in my book. Hell my phone can do all that now
nice. In our lab we are constantly building 6 core comps, with 32-64 gb of RAM to run the type of simulations we do, hell i am currently typing this on one. We build them ourselves to avoid the stupid dell licensing ****

I am a PhD student at UConn, we work on developing new non-volatile nanoscale memories along with a few other things. We are running complex physics based simulations of electrical-thermal interactions at the nanoscale on memory devices
