Thanks man. The BBM was a pedal I was also looking at as well as the Ibanez pd7 phat hed or whatever it's called. My extra money went towards that cab, olp, and pickup.

I use a mammoth in a loop with my morley pwf. They are a pair for sure.

Anyone use a Wooly Mammoth here? I got a guy who will build the clone for $80. Anyone have experience with clone vs. the real deal mammoth?

I got one of those. Never tried a clone, but sure as hell wouldn't spend that much on a real one again.
Maybe a bit limited in it's use, but it gets real nasty and works wonders with filters.

I'm into classic rock and a bunch of different heavy metal stuff, but my fav band at the moment would have to be Russian Circles.

Band just started and now guitarist is moving away... Should I urge the drummer to move on, or play it out (a month tops) with his friend?

Riffs don't stop coming just cause the guitard player leaves. I've done tons of jams just me and drummer and I sing, its extra weird but it doesn't hinder the writing process.

The 30 minutes before practice where just the drummer and myself show up early to jam are my favorite 30 minutes. Guitarists are a lot easier to replace than drummers imo. However if you didn't like the drummer or don't think he's very good it's a perfect opportunity to dissolve and start over.

I called the drummer and explained to him my concerns. He wants to bring in a 2nd guitar player to start learning songs then I guess he'll be #1 when the other guy moves. I may get vocal duties but not by choice. My memory is questionable
