Any of you guys play an IC big muff? Thinking about building one but it seems a little thrashy sounding.

I trust you guys to help me out more than the Amps forum, Im thinking of adding a tvx 210 to my 410 and running my red knob concert bass at 2ohms. Is this good or bad and what should I know about running a 30+ yeard old amp hard?
As long as the amp is rated for 2 ohms there should be no problem. There's really nothing scary about running amps at 2 ohms as long as they are rated for it.
To expand on the previous post, if you really want to add another cab to your 410 I'd go with another 410 or something like a 215 so your power is more evenly distributed.
anyone rock an brassmaster or brassmaster clone?
I tried, but there was something wrong w/ my build. I haven't tried to troubleshoot and it's packed away in moving boxes. I'll revisit after we move.
**edit...
It was a hard build, btw. Super tight and I had to file out the holes a little more to fit the pots & switches.
GGG build?
Yup. I think it has grounding problems though. I could get it to make noise if I took the pots and jacks out of the case.
I'd look into a grey stache if you were going the GGG BMP route
lead is pretty cheap.

Anyone use a Wooly Mammoth here? I got a guy who will build the clone for $80. Anyone have experience with clone vs. the real deal mammoth?
