Those cabs do look very nice.

Since someone mentioned Earthless.

I would really really like to do something along these lines but... heavier.

We have a local band that's kind of close. Great live too.

Yeah I've got some Tia Carrera albums. Good stuff.

I've got a pretty decent sized Mjolnir on my right upper arm. Going to turn that into a 1/4 sleeve pretty soon, probably with some dark greys and blues for a lightning storm landscape.

Also have a phoenix on my rib cage with celtic knotting in the wings that took 16 hours.

Both were done by one of my good friends from high school. I trusted him to ink me when he was just starting out in his mom's den and he did a fantastic job. Now he's got his own studio and runs a very successful ink shop with a good dude who taught him how to ink.

eyeballkid is also a tattoo artist and does incredible art work!

Awesome. My buddy has been doing tattoos out of his apartment for years and just started working in a shop earlier this week for the first time. He does some really great work. He did this Cthulhu vs. Wendigo one on my left shoulder a few months ago that just rules. It's amazing that he didn't get into a shop earlier with the quality he does. We're all pretty proud of him over here.

Latest board setup. DS-1 is gonna be swapped out for a phase 90. Got practice tonight with a fill in drummer. We have a show coming up on the 28th. Board isn't as neat as I usually like to get it but something's might be getting changed around.

I'm big into celtic/pagan/nordic mythology so I've been thinking of also doing Odin's spear on my left arm to kind of match my right arm.

This pic is from 5 years ago after I had just got it done, so it is much more faded looking like a part of my real skin now.

And thinking of doing Gungnir on the other arm.

I realize just about anyone in a pagan metal band has a hammer of thor tattoo, but I don't really give a ****. It's what I like.

I've also been considering getting somewhat of a "joke" tattoo, like a Venture Bros character/reference or a Sgt. Floyd Pepper tattoo (bassist from the Muppets band Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem(.

My parents dig Om, specially my mum, dad not so much, but he loved Hielo Negro and Mainhorse.

I'm having a hard time with these arabian scales, they don't really fit in the music we already have and any new stuff sounds lika an Om rip-off :/ , but we're kinda bored of pentatonics

You guys throw in different scales sometimes or just pentatonics all the time?

In a two piece band too?
I mostly use pentatonics, though i often like to improvise out of them ie. "playing random stuff that sometimes happens to sound good". Besides we're half stoner rock half noise, so when i feel like it i just start stratching my strings and messing with effects.

I've got a few tattoos. I would say a lot, but these days I see people with full sleeves, legs, hand and neck tattoos on the regular...so not that many really. I never had the clarity of vision to have big connected works of art, I just have a bunch up my right arm, one on my upper back and most of my chest. Lots of random stuff, some personal, some goofy. I have a severed zombie hand wielding a broken rootbeer bottle, Black Flag bars, lots of corny old sailor style and pinup type stuff. I haven't gotten a new tattoo in a long time though, not really high on my financial priority list and I just don't care about it anymore. My wife has some serious artistic tattoos on her legs. She has a big coi fish on one thigh and on the other side a peacock stretching from her thigh to her ribs, that a guy did basically freehand, looks almost like a painting.
