I know the bassstringsonline.com dude will put together custom sets. Never tried it but he's a good dude from my dealings. I'm considering circle k for my next restring.

Edit: Read more about your issue, might be worth sending him a message through the site, he could have a solution. Don't forget to ask for the TB discount. The thinnest taper I have btw are some warwick strings on my pbass that I thought I'd hate because they're this weird bare metal taper but they actually sound pretty awesome. Dunno if they'd have anything in those monster gauges though.

Morning. Today's spin is a replay of Derek & The Dominoes - Layla. Coffee's OK.

Trying to get my MD to shoot me up with cortisone in my shoulder. Went to GC yesterday, played guitar for about 10-15 minutes, and my shoulder was screaming. And both thumbs ached.

S**t, I go anymore downhill, I won't even be able to noodle in my living room.

Not bass related but just love my new lizard Chica!!! My girlfriend got a little nervous she would eat her toes lol. Chica had a nice low carb meal of a frozen thawed mouse, covered in raw egg, with some moist natural salmon cat food to complete the dish. She gave the meal 4 stars lol.

Morning, I thought maybe you ran off with Mothgirl. Or tracked her down and she is in the pit in your basement, it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again...
Been taking you all's advice and staying away from processed foods and already have an improvement in my energy level and a decrease in intensity and repitition of my migraines!!! Hope the doc gets you straight!!!

Things that made me happy in the past 24 hours... Invalid Link Removed. They're finally trying to abolish the stupid law that you can't have gas and beer at the same location in PA. I can't think of any other states that can't buy beer at a convenience store. It's bogus.

Yeah PA is so strange. Growing up there and then visiting other states you are like huh, you have beer in the grocery store, at Walmart. And then some states even have hard liquor at the convenient stores. You know what was weird though, in the Wilkes-Barre area they have these convenient stores that are named Convenient Mart and they sold beer, some loophole but they weren't restaurants. When I lived in Kentucky I lived in a dry county, surrounded by dry counties, so you had to drive through two counties to buy and booze. My neighbor made booze runs for his buddies. I would go to catch a show in Lousiville and say wait we need to grab soem liguor befor ewe go back home. And I lived 5 miles from the time zone, so I worked in Eastern, and live in Central, I was a time traveler!!!

There's a lot of loopholes around here. Take for instance the head shop that opened a few miles from me. I can go buy a pipe or bong in a strip mall in the same county where Tommy Chong was busted for the same thing. Makes no sense.

Will it be real beer?

Up until a few years ago, you couldn't buy booze on Sunday. The grocery stores and gas stations sell weaker, watered down beer. 3.2% or you got to hit the "liquor" store. And, its not even cheaper. So while it's not illegal to get it at gas stations, only out of towners do. If I'm paying almost $10 for some craft beer, I want the true alcohol content.

just looked through his site, he mostly just sells stock stuff so i dont know if that will work. i talked to the circle K guy last night, were gonna see if we can work something out. if worse comes to worse, the dude can make me some, itll just be expensive, and id buy in bulk to avoid getting too beat up on price. basically i need the top taper to start about 1-2 inches sooner than it does, cause the giant fat part of the 166 is starting to wrap too early, and the kramer tuning pegs are small, so its wrapping super tight, and snapping.

conklin makes strings that would work, but i need to email them about where the taper starts on the string.

and Ron if you read this, let me know how you got your big strings on the kramer if you remember.

I haven't read as much about how the proposition effects the privatization of liquor stores but I hope that gets sorted out too. I lived in Florida for a few years where there aren't any state run liquor stores and you can buy beer and liquor wherever you want. I don't even drink that often but it was nice to run up to circle k or walgreens and buy a case or order a pony keg from walmart or buy some liquor wherever I wanted. We could throw a party together in Florida in a few hours with those tools at our disposal lol. It was nice.

Yeah I rarely drink these days, although I do think beer distributors are kind of neat in PA, especially remember thinking it was so cool when my older relatives would ask my Mom when she is going in to town can you swing by the distributor and pick me up a case of beer, and loved when my Mom would pull in the guy would say what do you want, then he would say ok pop your trunk, and he would load it up. Always thought that was fun for some reason. The episode of Trailer Park Boys were they steal groceries sort of reminds me of that. I was like, they have grocery stores in Canada where they fill the order for you then you get a number and go outside and pick it up lol. Always loved walking around the distributor, especially seeing how many products Yuengling really makes that you never hear of unless you are at a Northeast PA beer distributor. Love me some Yuengling Porter!!!
