Daaayum!

I can't wait to hear your impressions. I have the GB SM 9.2, but I have been toying with the idea of picking something else up. Nice collection man!

Haben sie audio clips?

The nitro on the new EB is particularly sucky or all of Gibson`s basses with nitro finishes are weak? I only ask because I have a new Gibby Explorer in nitro sunburst. I haven`t noticed any wear and tear yet. But I`d like to know if I need to baby it.

It seems pretty hit and miss. The people that have been complaining, have been doing so pretty loudly. I have been made aware of LP nitro issues too.

I would baby it unless you like the relic look.

Yeah the greenboy Bassic is a sweet cab. I gas for one with a faital 15PR400 in it... might just have to settle for a Dually.

Talk about first world problems :)

In other news I have a Bassic 12 demo waiting for me to go un-box it. Wont be staying with me, but I will get to play through it for a bit before I send it back to Mark.

I'll be interested in your take on the Bassic12, Julian...it's main strengths are that it sounds pretty legit, sonically, for a 23.5lb cab...super easy to schlep around, but has some limitations if you wanna really push the big watts or sub lows. Overall, I kinda dig it

I really want to try one of those new EB's. I had a chance to try out a G3 reissue and the finish was a bit below the old Gibson standards, but I'm not real fussy about that sort of stuff.

Octave pedals...Now I'm wondering about octave pedals, again, I've thought about them before but forget about them. I want a massive punch you in the balls bass blast for certain riffs, will a down octave do that?

Behringer makes ones that are similar to the OC-2 and OC-3 by the looks anyway, and wont hurt the wallet to try out if it works for me.

Not to concerned with tracking because I'll just be doing single notes and tonz of fuzz after.
I've used the EHX Micro Pog for awhile. I really like it - very clean, very fast tracking.

I never got to mess with one of them yet, that clean octave up and being able to use it for chords seems cool.
This is a cheap digital option I forgot about before
