Stoner/Doom Bassists 53: Loud Noises

It seems pretty hit and miss. The people that have been complaining, have been doing so pretty loudly. I have been made aware of LP nitro issues too.

I would baby it unless you like the relic look.

Thanks for the info. I keep it in it`s case and gently wipe it down after playing it.

Kinda bummed at the moment. I`m positive that one speaker is damaged in my new(used) 410 slant cab. The grill was dented and hit the speaker. So now it distorts when I hit a low C. In the photos of the cab on ebay there is no dent on the cab. So I`m guessing it got damaged during transit? I got ahold of the seller and told him about it. I asked if it was insured at all because a new speaker cost around $80. He said he would file it with UPS but that their process is a PITA. I tossed the original box and it`s been almost a month before I noticed the damage. He said that some one from UPS would have to inspect it too.I don`t have my hopes up.

Side note: when replacing a speaker do I need to do any soldering? How do you hook up the wires?

612 looks cool, but the BAD CAB gets extra points for probably being the most anti-fearful cab ever ;) :hiding:

2x15, 2x12, 4x10 all in one enclosure with no crossover in sight :D

Id play one :bassist:

Didnt read through it all but I'm sure the thread on it is a doozie, mod closed at page 9... http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f15/tecamp-bad-cab-what-616726/

No 18s= fail.

This is true though, I love my 2x18 cab, if I could only bring one cab to a gig it would be that one. It has excellent range, massive lows with plenty of mids and highs.
