Stoner/Doom Bassists 53: Loud Noises

WOW!!! when I bought my NV610 I got the other 4 speakers for another $75!!

Yeah some people price used gear ridiculously. But hey, if someone's willing to pay it... I think it's the old "I'm gonna price this high so when people inevitably try to haggle me down I'll still get what I want for this" trick. Personally I love it when people sensibly price stuff so you can just buy it and be done with it.

Morning...
Took the day off today.. One more episode of TPB and I'm going to FINISH sanding the cab... I anticipate having it ready for stain by the weekend. Fueled on high octane coffee and greens... Going to listen to riffs, and get some work done!

Kuato is heading into the studio next week. I'll be armed with P-bass, Fender 300 pro + 2x15 Pro cab, Swollen Pickle, and Green Rhino. There's also a 69' Ampeg V4 and vintage Yamaha 6x10 cab there. I should definitely be able to get a pretty awesome bass sound on this album.
There's a few songs(parts of songs) that require massive FUZZ. Should I overdub these parts or play straight through and rely on clean DI to add any loss of bass?

+ 1 Green Rhino!!!
I didn't play 6 string(guitar) in a while so last night I was having a blast with it. I was rocking my Green Rhino last night, great pedal, was boosting it with my El Oso, and hitting it with some octave up and down too. Good times.

Just checked tracking and tomorrow will be a NPD, can't wait to try this little bugger out, hoping for a more vintage smoother fuzz, to have different shades of fuzziness. Mine is red and white though, like a peppermint.

Might be getting Laz'd on a pedal...:scowl:

Going to give him a few more days before disputing the charge. Not a lot of money but still.

I always hate to be the guy who "tattles", but selling and buying via the internet has almost zero opportunity to fix things yourself. If nobody ever disputes and talks about it these people just never learn. Who cares about the money, its about respect.
