The people defending the guy who got dicks drawn on his "tags" talk exactly like justin beiber and one direction fans. Is that band Emmure rich? I've never heard of them. Young metalcore fans seem to think playing festivals and getting covered on blogs makes you a millionaire. Every band I know like that who tours constantly live like bums or with their moms when they're not touring usually.

OK, just looked up Emmure and they are ****ing horrible.

And, yes, I'm being a dickhead. Only because that sound is completely indistinguishable from every other band in their genre. Too formulaic. I had really hoped that genre died years ago...

Plus, they are East Coast (NY) hardcore-ish...which I really dislike. ALways feels like it borders on gangster. lol.

^ that is dumb and, of course, has exceptions....

Great live recording! what are you using to mic your bass cab?

I'm a big fan of archiving and would like to get most of our shows available for anyone who wants to see 'em.

Our last show was the first time we've tried to capture the audio and it was more than a little over bearing on my little Zoom H2

We use a Zoom Q3 and it handles the SPL really well. The HD version has the same audio quality but much better video quality (obviously).

Looks like I'm working on a sludgy project with my buddy down in the USA. I'll be setting up my Spector for DADG an octave lower than standard. I had a .210 and ended up selling it, but I'm thinking about going .222 for this.

If my braining is working properly, I'm thinking about going with these gauges:
G - .090
D - .112
A - .142 (or .150)
D - .222

What do you dudes think? I'm on my iPhone and don't feel like going playing with a tension calculator.

That's pretty damn clear. Did it require much eq'ing after ward?

Our keyboardist took our live recording and hit to chop some shvt to get it listenable.

LOL, live, apparently, it sounded great, but not so much on our recordings. He even may have setup his rhodes shotgun mic for his camera instead of using the Zoom.

Nope no EQ at all. Straight from the memory card to youtube.
