Every week I see some gear for sale that makes my wallet itch. Then I reel it in and remind myself that I'm paying off a gear loan and a home improvement load, so I can reup both. Almost there, just have to wait until June.

Saw that when you posted them, i really liked it, im starting to dig grindcore, or at least the stuff you make, its over before I can start to not like it. Lolz

I know I've heard Heavy Eyes before, but for some reason I couldn't remember what they sounded like. That album is really good. I'm digging the subtle dirty bass tone on "These Men Are Wolves" a lot. Vocals remind me of a more laid back version of Jack White.

Same here. There always seams to be a pedal,bass,comic book or record that I want to buy. But now after some recent events with our 91 year old landlord me and the missus are looking to buy our first home. So now I have to tighten my belt,save my money and get the ball rolling on this house thing.

Corey,Im really digging those tracks you put up!

i know this may be a dumb question to ask since every situation is different but since the general consensus seems to be that 2X15 cabinets work well for bringing the doom does anyone know how well a vintage Bassman 2X15 cabinet with newer speakers would work? How much does the cabinet design play into it? Im talking about the older, slim/skinny, closed back, non-ported cabinets like the one in this photo.

Thanks man, hopefully everyone else involved doesn't lag too much and there will be some full songs soon. All the details about who's doing vocals and how many songs are going to be written are a little hazy.

I have a list as long as my arm of home improvement and remodeling projects we need to spend money on. I'm just trying to pay off all our existing loans first, so we make the best use of our money and not just pile up debt and eat through savings. Responsible adult stuff is boring...I need to pay them loans off so I can buy more gear!

The nature of a sealed cab is that it is quiter than it's ported counter part.

Cab design is super important as far as how you will sound in the end. Of course, don't soley go from a spec sheet, but some speakers work better than others in different cabs. If you call a place like Eminence (or a vendor like US Speaker) with the box size, they might help figure out what speaker would be best in that cab.

All of my cabs have been ported so I got no dog in this one. Good luck.

winSD would probably cry at you and tell you how inefficient it was.

your ears would probably say, damn that sounds good.
