Man if I didnt just cut uncle sam a fat check, that would be mine.
If you'd calm down on the gb speakers a whole lot could be yours.

Kind of forgot about this album after it released. So damn good: http://theheavyeyesmemphis.bandcamp.com/album/maera
I wasn't going to post these, since they really have nothing to do with this thread, but I'm bored and the thread is slowwww. Instrumental demo tracks from a new grindcore project I'm working on with a friend. Just scratch tracks we laid down at my house on Sunday, to get some ideas going. We're going to try to incorporate more noise and pedal freakout stuff into it as we go.

Saw that when you posted them, i really liked it, im starting to dig grindcore, or at least the stuff you make, its over before I can start to not like it. Lolz
I bought some vinyl from them a year or two ago, they`re OK.Also, anyone ever hear of The Black Angels? Made a pit stop at the record store today, said something like "Austin psychedelic blues" so I picked it up.
FVCK YES!!!!! I like it fast and heavy. You just gave me an ear boner.I wasn't going to post these, since they really have nothing to do with this thread, but I'm bored and the thread is slowwww. Every week I see some gear for sale that makes my wallet itch. Then I reel it in and remind myself that I'm paying off a gear loan and a home improvement load, so I can reup both. Almost there, just have to wait until June.

Same here. There always seams to be a pedal, bass, comic book or record that I want to buy. But now after some recent events with our 91 year old landlord me and the missus are looking to buy our first home. So now I have to tighten my belt, save my money and get the ball rolling on this house thing.
Corey,Im really digging those tracks you put up!
i know this may be a dumb question to ask since every situation is different but since the general consensus seems to be that 2X15 cabinets work well for bringing the doom does anyone know how well a vintage Bassman 2X15 cabinet with newer speakers would work? How much does the cabinet design play into it? Im talking about the older, slim/skinny, closed back, non-ported cabinets like the one in this photo.

What kind of bands do you feel you're "supposed" to like but don't?
I have several friends raving about Atlas Moth, but I keep listening and keep not digging...
Uh oh... here goes Clutch fighting for the next 3-4 pages...
My drummer doesn't like The Sword because he thinks they are generic. I love them. Different strokes.
