300T isn't any louder than an SVT. Also a lot of people say they run their 300T at 3-4 on the master volume. But honestly it did not get much louder when pushed to 5, 6, 8 or 10.

That might explain why the guy who used mine without asking (and had the master at 8!!!!) didn't blow my speakers and the audience's eardrums.

I had this on a 90's RAT2 with LM308. Not a huge fan, really of the bass increase mods for a Rat, it's my least favorite. Decreases the gain, and while it adds some bass, it doesn't sound so much like a rat anymore.

I know we've done this before, but - does anyone own an Electric amp? I am doing the obvious toss-up between Matamp and Electric. Shipping and custom faceplate and the unit itself is going to cost me about $4000 for Matamp, probably about the same post-tax for a Electric/Green amp.

I had the Orange AD200 that was gutted and rebuilt by Electric USA. It was a nice amp, probably the nicest tube amp I have owned. Perfect for the classic "rock bass grind" kind of sound. I sold it due to all the reasons I've been talking about tube amps for the last few days. Would I buy another, sure, if the price was right. However, I would never buy one new.

Old Crow's Matamp blew up several times and I think he's trying to return it for a refund now. I'd stay away from them based on his experience. It didn't sound like a very good one.

We talking about Relationship of Command? I went back and listened to all the old ATDI albums last year and RoC was the only one I cared for anymore. And by cared for, I mean that I absolutely love it, but the previous albums didn't do it for me at all, anymore.
