Maybe since the parts are recycled, the trannies are full of holes?![]()
For some reason i read that as 500, not 800. Yeah that's a bit high.
Sorry but I can't respect any football teams that play more than half their games in a dome.![]()
Only 50 lbs?? how can it be that light without using torodial transformers?
The new Mesas are really light and they don't use toroidal transformers. Of course, they also dispense with wooden headcases.
Bought a new cab today. Picked up an old, beat Ampeg SVT 810 (made in '78, based on the speakers). This thing is mind-numbingly loud compared to my old Avatar 210. I'm a little wary of running too much power into it yet, as I can't find any concrete power ratings. Supposedly it might only be 240 watts RMS, which is a long way from the 500 watts my Orange Terror puts out. I'm not planning on diming the amp, but until I can get a little more info I'm going to stay wary.
Aside from buying some new bolts to hold the rubber feet on, this baby is ready to go. I'm a little bummed we didn't have practice today, but I've got the rest of my band dying to hear this thing.
So there's a hole on my pedal board, something mxr sized could fit there.
But I don't really need anything, so whatever I put there would be kind of unnecessary so I don't really know what to do.
Dare I leave open space on my board? I'm already spacing out pedals more than I used to...kept mashing all the pedals at once with them super close to each other.
You should get that new ehx klon clone and put it in there. One of us has to try it, my board is full so it can't be me.![]()
