Any Tomahawk fans? They just released a track for their new album. Invalid Link Removed
It's okay, but I was hoping for some Mit Gas type tracks. Love that album.
their first record is ok.
i cant get into anything mike patton related aside from bungle. i missed the window on FNM when i was a kid so i just cant get super into it, but most of his work now is just him making stupid noises and calling it music.
and its a shame too, because california is one of my favorite albums of all time, and i wish he'd go back to making music like that, instead of farting into microphones and recording it.
I agree with this to an extent. Mike does some really off the wall stuff that IMO is unlistenable, but on the other hand, he's done alot of really awesome stuff, too. I really like the score for Crank 2: High Voltage.
Just keep it within arms reach of your couch....
Anyone know the story behind the volume drop in the bass solo at the beginning of basically/NIB? I wonder if he had a volume pedal that he was backing off during the solo. When the song starts after the solo he's pretty distorted, and you can hear the volume jump back up slightly after the solo. Maybe he cranked it back up to drive the tubes in the amp?
Volcano all the way... Best decision, never looked back though I have been peeping the polite whispr for portable applications.
Also, micro pog is the way to go. I went from og pog, to Hog, back to micro pog. Best price was 139 on gc used so 150 shipped should be right about there.
