This is funny on so many levels. I'm the last bassist that band had, and father of fires the one before me and the bassist on those band camp tracks. Grats on joining them. You'll be hard pressed to find a better group of dudes.

Between Airkank and Laz, I think that bancamp link for Billows has been posted 6 or 7 times. Pretty hilarious.

Lo-pan would be cool, but June is going to suck. I pretty much allocated all my concert funds for the CoC, Torche, Black Cobra, and Gaza show. Just how many weeknight stoner shows are in Denver during the month of June anyways? Shnikes!

And I was the planned bassist for a failed reuniting for the band FoF is currently in, before I was in Billows rofl.

Now you can go back to band practice and tell them "Hey I'm on this forum with these stoner/bass nerds and I'm talking to both you old bass players" and they'll be like "HUH?" Funk, were nerds!

Geoff, the one guitarist, is a total gear nerd as well. He knows about TB I'm sure he'll find it funny.

I think we should start a fraternity. Laz, how do you feel about hazing?

Don't you think letting him do his first show and experiencing Richie's live antics first hand without any previous warning is basically the definition of hazing?

Also, don't let the fact that two ex-members of that band are in this thread deter you lol. I had a career change and moved to another state, and I think FoF had to take time off for the birth of his kid. Those guys are very easy to get along with and lots of fun to play with.

Also, I think I recall Geoff saying you didn't have much in terms of a live rig when I talked to him about it awhile back. If you need gear advice, regardless of how much you are looking to spend, this is the place to ask!

Oh, I already called Geoff about 5 minutes ago. He said he's just happy that he continuously attracts bassists with good taste.
