Still haven't even had "The Talk" with the drummer. I have a good friend barking at me to record at his studio too. Times not right yet.

Any idea what you are planning to do? This delay in recording is unacceptable.

One of those tiny hand held deals. I love the dark cabs but that's just me. I finally got a chance to play a butcher the other day. With a 70's peavey cab it was pretty cool but I still can't drop that kind of money on a guitar rig. Think I might suck it up and just get a line 6 combo or something. And did you have the tone bypassed on the beard?

Yeah I used the Bluebeard with the tone bypassed, we did not soundcheck so I did not have time to fiddle too much and I figured it was simplest. Set the fuzz at noonish and turned up the volume a little over unity and let her rip.

If so it should be a pretty well rounded bass.

I don't know anything about ESP if they sound good I would rock that. Looks like an awesome bass.

Just talk, it will go where it goes from there. But the talk got moved because of shows and now he has a fight. Don't want to mess his fight up with band drama.

Holy **** this thread has moves quick since a few hours ago! Chromes are sounding very sweet but I gotta get used to the feel. I don't even know what to type since so much has happened in the last few hours lol. Ah yes, Sam where is your Ric?? All your new pics are with the Jazz.

That's my P actually (Lakland). My Ric is with my guitar player. He's borrowing it for a project he plays bass in.

I should throw the set of Chromes I have on one of my Rics. I've never tried one with flats. I don't think it would be my sound ( super bright and dirty) but might be cool to check out.

I found it really depends on the bass. Chromes on my 4003 were great, aggressive with lots of punch and growl. On the 4001, not so much. Tried some Sadowsky flats on it too and did not really like that combo either.
