For me. I like the shoe idea. I've always been into boat shoes (grew up on the bay) but now they seem to be ultra hip. You can't argue with the comfort and ease of use. My last pair have become my lawn mowing shoes.

I have friends who have worn them for the last 30 years. You can't go wrong with a classic.

They have become ultra hip. Saw my brother inlaw graduate a few weeks ago, all his frat buddies had Sperrys on. ALL OF THEM. I have never felt more out of place then to be around that many people with boat shoes, yet so far away from any water. And this is coming from the guy that grew up with water on three sides and you were never further than an hour drive from the beach.
Anyone use a brass master type pedal? GAS has been hitting me lately for one of those and a lighter "old man cab" for the cover band rig.
Dude, I tried to go lite cabs. I was about to buy a markbass 210 combo and 210 extension cab, and then I just couldn't do it. it hurts me on the inside. Science be damned, I need moar speakers!
I have plenty of big cabs, I want a small, light, and loud cab for after 4-45 min sets and drunk at 330am a easy load into the house. Again, the cab is for the cover band. I have a large stoner rig

One of my professional touring musician friends said he tried out one of the Genz Benz 212 Neos and thought it was incredible.
How much are you looking to spend? If you are trying to stay on the cheap side, I bet a Hartke Hydrive would be solid.

I don't know if you recall but I played the avatar version of the 15/6/1 and was not a fan. I want to try a hartke hydrive 112. Those hydrive's are really good sounding cabs.
