I plugged my new Chris Aiken p bass in, wow I haven't used new rounds on a full scale in a while, holy sheet that's twangy. No time to really touch it yet I will after finals tomorrow.

The cold weather and cold hearts of the fedex company seem to have not touched the bass and it's perfectly setup it seems in standard at least. I made a point to call sweetwater and get a guy on the phone and told him I'd always buy from him and do his sales surveys if he helped me out and now that it came in cheap and perfect I'm definitely using them again for the bass vi and other stuff I need.

The friend I got to rehab has appreciative friends and family as a relation of theirs just gave me $500 this evening for my troubles so hell yes for doing the right thing.

Bryce, that is awesome on your friend's family giving you props like that!
Maybe that maiden you rescued from Captain Hide the Pickle, will end up being your maid! That would be like double-karma!
This parts bass reminded me of your new bass. Remember I was saying All Parts has a neck like that? Man if my Waterstone sells I may be seeing if this is still available, looks done up right, and it is calling out for C standard. I still think you should see if one of those wooden pickup builders on ebay will make you one with just the pickup routed out and let you drill your one screw holes to match the body, since those Squiers and Fenders sometimes have different screw holes. Just put the blank one over the stock one and mark the spot and drill away.

Yeah that should be awesome! I'm excited to play Baltimore again after a 2+ year hiatus!

The Obelisk wrote a pretty incredible review of our album today: Invalid Link Removed

Congrats on the review! JJ is a great writer with excellent taste in music and I think he hit the nail on the head with this one. You guys earned it and deserve all of the kind words that he wrote.

Think I did best on the final I had no time to study for. One more, turn in rented books, go to the bank, and pack. Then sit around til 7pm drive to a guy buy his gear on the way to Austin arrive around 11 at my parents empty house, grab a suitcase pack it and head to my aunts, then 8am head to the air port and fly to South Carolina. Then return flight on the 17th, then get in my grandparents RV with 8 other people and hurdle across the southwest to Tucson for Christmas where I'll be until the 28th then back to Austin and up to Denton before New Years.

Let's the Christmas tour begin.

Yeah, everybody must be working or something?

I've been trying to tackle a problem that's effing driving me up the wall. It's hard to give detailed analysis when the data is fundamentally ****ed in the first place. Going through thousands of lines of data line by line to pull out stuff that shouldn't be there can only work for so long.

My brain is fried.

...and now it's time for a meeting.
